Michael installed my new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and the plumbing for my new sink. He was friendly and his communication was great! I love that Michael wore shoe covers when he came into our place since we just got new bamboo floors installed. He kept his work area super clean. You can see from the picture that I posted. He provided expertise, hard work, clean finish, and some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. We were happy to give him a well-earned $100 tip.

We were having some issues with the draining from our kitchen. Our dishwasher, sink, and washer dryer all run from that section. We initially thought it was typical build up, and simply required a line run to clear the path. Hard hat was very responsive, and quickly sent out Mr. Francisco. They quoted us $120 for the line clearing.

Upon arrival, Mr. Francisco was thorough. He inspected all the water sources (clothes washer, sink, dishwasher, etc.). He was able to confirm there was a low flow out of the area. He then checked the access pipes. He then went under the home, and into the crawl space below. He was quick to point out the grade of the water output from that section of the house was off. He said the issues was a result of with the pipe grading. The improper grade was causing water to pool, calcify, and build up sediment; all resulting in poor drainage, and dirt build up and odor.

We had been dealing with subtle indicators of a larger issue, but never out it all together until he helped us. Mr. Francisco was able to set up an appointment to redo the piping grade the next business day. They quoted $1,600; which was expensive, but on par with all other quotes. And $1,600 is what we paid including all taxes, parts, and labor.

Mr. Francisco arrived right on time for the job, and worked diligently and smoothly until the job was finished. He utilized a leveler and a shovel to ensure we had a great exit grade for the new piping. He showed the poor original grade, and then later showed me through the new install and improved path he designed to ensure a proper slope. He then checked all other plumbing points; including the main line. He showed me each via the snake camera. He was great! It gave us so much confidence and comfort to see everything and understand the underlying issue was resolved. He also educated and showed us what items might require replacement long term (10-15 years from now). Mr. Francisco then cleaned up under the house, and in the side run access point. Taking all the old pipe and debris away. The final new pipe line was clean, and well done. And had a great slope down to avoid this issue happening again!

Rather than take $120 and give us a temporary fix, Mr. Francisco and the Hard Hat team treated us like family. They did not charge us the $120; and provided a real, permanent solution. Hard Hat - thank you, and you have an amazing team member in Mr. Francisco. We could not be happier, and hope that he is appreciated as the great team member he is!

They just fixed 2 huge problems in my home and I'm very grateful to them.
I have been widowed for 6 years and my husband used to take care of all the plumbing problems that came up in our home thru the years.
I had no idea what to do when I started hearing loud gurgling noises coming out of my kitchen sink. It also filled up with dirty water every time I used my washing machine.
They share the same wall in between them and the same pipes. The washing machine is in the garage, right on the other side of my kitchen sink.
I called my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and they sent a plumbing company over who was far less than enthusiastic about wanting the job. I did NOT feel good about our meeting at all, or what he said AHS would, and wouldn't do.
I decided not to use AHS and Googled other plumbing companies. After reading stellar reviews, I called

From my first phone call with Ariga in the office, I knew I found the right company.
She was extremely warm and kind, and really listened to the problem.
She set up an appointment immediately and sent Michael
(the plumber), over to assess the situation. He's fantastic !!!
It turned out to be a broken main line drain and would be a big job and very involved. The old original galvanized pipes would have to be removed and replaced with brand new plastic pipes.
The wall would have to be opened, concrete broken up and my front lawn dug up.
I was so anxious just hearing about how extensive this would all be.
The owner of the company,
Ralph, came to my home and completely reassured me that they knew exactly what to do and would take the BEST care of everything. He was so polite and such a gentleman, I agreed to hire them. I also thought he gave me a very fair price for the job.
Michael and Cesar did the work and they were absolutely excellent. They were always so nice and answered every question I had.
They also worked clean and took great effort to make sure everything around their work was protected and safe.
I was especially concerned about boxes of my husband's belongings getting wet or damaged and told Michael,
who then took even extra care with them.
Very sweet.
I was so impressed with the result, that I hired them again this past week to fix a major problem in one of my showers.
This time, the plumber was Eduardo. He was also SO professional, excellent and kind.
This is a wonderful company, and everyone there is honest, nice and absolutely great at what they do.
I whole heartedly recommend them and would definitely use them again if something came up.

My mom had a major plumbing problem with three clogged toilets. I initially contacted another company who came out to assess the situation. Somehow I did not feel confident with their assessment and estimate, and went to yelp and found Hard Hat Rooter. They were very courteous and patient in explaining their findings and recommendations. Although it turned out to be an expensive job, I felt they were reasonable and not out to take advantage of the situation. Ralph, the owner actually came himself to assess the plumbing issues and explained everything that needed to be done. I found him to be very honest and knowledgeable. The crew came everyday for a week to complete the job. They always left the site clean at the end of the day. Michael, the lead would always keep me informed of what they would be doing each day they came. I could always call him or Ralph if I had a question and they always responded promptly. I have to say that this was a great experience with Hard Hat Rooter. It made me look more favorably at the plumbing community in that there are still good businesses out there that take pride in their work and genuinely just want to help others!
