We used Hillside pavers about 10 months ago and I can't say enough about the company as a whole. We did a huge backyard project in conjunction with a pool rehab. from the start to finish they are by far the best contractors weve ever worked with and we've used dozens. From the free estimate and design lady, i forget her name to the contract manager Oscar, to the owner Valentina, they get 5 stars all around. Things were done efficiently and on time and cleaned up nicely daily. They managed hiccups and worked in tandem with the pool company that smoothed the process greatly. The quality and time were stellar and maybe the price was higher than other quotes we were getting but well worth it in 2023. our finished product is great and it was done the right way. Changes we made were easy to do and the carpenters they have are skilled. Fire pit was built from scratch. Drainage and decor a must. main gas done. they are well equipped in all facets of general contractors and I believe no job is too big or small. We will use them again!

Quote was received from Byron and everything that was on the quote was complete and no extra charges. We did add items and another quote was provided so no surprises at the end of the job. We did have issues that needed additional work and after Shaun discussed with his team, they agreed that it was work that should have been done and the project was completed at no additional charge. I have dealt with many contractors who want to milk you for every penny they can. Not so with Hillside. I would hire these guys in a heartbeat and save a lot of time and heartburn dealing with another company. It is so hard to find a company like this in SoCal. They have a customer for life here.

Highly recommend working with Hillside Pavers! We interviewed well over 5 paver companies and Hillside was top notch - their value, service, products, quality of care are unbeatable for their prices and customer service. They have a great vision for their projects - they gave us some awesome ideas for us and turned our backyard into a beautiful spot we want to always hang out. We worked with Byron and Shaun - they are the best! Byron came out to give us our initial quote - he was extremely knowledgeable, he brought up tons of great points about our yard and what would work best, including the drain system we would need. We were out of town one weekend and Shaun sent us updated photos/videos along the way, always kept us in the loop of the project. Their crew went above and beyond, every little detail was thought about, kept our yard as clean as possible during the renovation, truly the best experience. Hillside Pavers recently worked on our new construction backyard. From the first step of requesting a quote to the final sign off, the communication was top notch. We were looking for a company that would be open with us about the process, the cost, and the end product.

Byron came out to give us a quote and talked us through the entire paver process, our choices of paver size, and even offered expert guidance on which pavers we should choose. He was able to provide us with a quote on the spot. Byron put together a package for us to submit to our HOA for the work.

Once we had a start date, the whole team, especially Valentina, were in constant contact with us about who would be arriving when, material delivery, and what to expect throughout the process.

On the morning of our start date, Shaun came out to make sure everything was in order and confirm the material delivery locations. The teams that came out to complete the work were efficient and respectful. We have a rather small space, and despite the estimate of 3 days to complete the work, they were able to finish it in a day and a half.

The quality of the work is excellent, they cut down the pavers to perfectly fit our space, and they leveled them down to our two drains.

We can safely say that we highly recommend Hillside for any hardscape work you need.
