Excellent company, work was top notch. Steve came out spent time explaining everything to us. Highly recommended!

Reviews look great I thought so too, but when you call for quote, explain situation of not having any AC unit in twnhme, explain your single parent working part time- then your offered payment plan- but you wanted think it over, not sure of prices now (last quote 3yrs ago). So I call back 24 hrs later (minutes ago) suddenly told by Steve " I can't sell you AC unit I was insulted all day- you wanted check around & you might sell & not pay me", I'm shocked & disappointed. this is America where weve right to shop around if unsure rates of Big purchase, the right I'm sure he's excercised-
I was thanking God a Business would not only sell but help single parent down on hard times but working.- but not after the owner lets feelings insult of not accepting right away! So there never was good intent. Sure concern over if customer sells is valid, but he said end of convo- I was like what? So I tried assure there are ways to protect make sure he gets paid- Im willing to put a lien o my property as assurance, and family member offered to help pay monthly payment until find full-time work, they know desperately need it! Now Im sitting in BOILING hot townhouse in TEARS
Nope Steve isn't like people we hear about Nbc "making a difference" you have to accept his price on first call, or he'll be offended leave you high dry. I'm sure he's good guy, but doing offering help shouldn't be forced conditional take it right now" or hit the road!"
New customers get ur quote & say "ill get back want check around such big purchase"- Ser how many pple told "I was offended offers changed!"
I never posted yelp, if someone has good 2ton AC unit for sale or can Help- please contact or post

Was having heating problems at my rental unit in Naperville. It had a roof top unit on the rear deck. I called another heating company and they got it working but a few days later it went out again. They came back and said the heat exchanger had holes from rust. I had problems with the AC last summer and spent over $600 for R22.
I decided it was time to get rid of this unit and install a conventional furnace and AC in the basement. This was very expensive but I had to bite the bullet.
I got quotes from the other company and HCS and found that HCS price was considerably less and for a better brand.
Steve worked around my tenants schedule and got it done.
My tenant is very happy and that makes me happy.

My wife and I finished the basement of our Chicago Georgian last year. Unfortunately our contractor cut into existing ductwork to install additional HVAC outlets which caused a large loss of airflow to the 2nd floor.
We called multiple HVAC companies in the hope of finding an affordable solution. We heard a range of ideas from adding a whole house fan (didn't work) to installing a ductless multi split system to adding a second HVAC system for the 2nd floor. These options were considerably over our budget.
After reading online blogs from folks with similar problems, we decided to contact Steve at Home Comfort Systems for an estimate on installing a Spacepak system in our attic. When Steve examined our existing system, he affirmed it was in very good shape. The problem was the lack of air push. He suggested we look at a zoning system. The system operates 4 separate "zones" each with its own thermostat adjusting the airflow to ducts with dampers. The best part - its a third to a quarter the cost of adding a second HVAC unit.
Steve's experience and trustworthiness are impressive. There is no hard sell. He offers a solution best suited to correct your problem, not where he can earn the largest markup. If your home has big temperature variances between floors, give Steve a call. You will be thankful you did.

I highly recommend this company. I recently used them because I have heard great reviews from my neighbors, and they exceeded my expectations. The guys did a great gob and for a very reasonable price too.

We had our overdue 29yr old furnace go out on us on a Friday. I talked to Steve that afternoon. He gave me very fair price and didn't oversell me on a furnace I didn't need. His price was right on line vs other quotes. He came out the next day when the furnace arrived to give us more information and to introduce himself. I could have not asked for a nicer guy or better service from his team. I am planning on getting a new AC very soon and will not look elsewhere as I could not be happier! They exceeded all my expectations which were high as I used to be a General Contractor.
