Lets face it.........money's TIGHT with almost everyone.
I was terrified of hearing ""you need a new furnace" again.
When I called them, they didn't know this. However, their ""on the phone"" diagnostics actually helped me get in there and fix the problem at NO COST. I consider this my way of reciprocating with some free word of mouth advertising. We have since had them come out as the GO TO GUYS for maintenance and minor repairs, and will happily give them our money for the next check up on our furnace and AC systems this spring. THANKS YOU GUYS.
Another local business that deserves all the money they get. No doubt.

My A/C system had some issues a few years after being installed in a new town home. I tried a few different services - all of them gave vague explanations of the issue, always offering overpriced solutions. I then tried Home Comfort Systems, and was shocked by the level of service. Mike not only took the time to explain the issue with the system, but walked me through how he identified it. His services were very affordable, and have called him for all of my heating and A/C issues since. I highly recommend giving them a call.

I am selling my home and the inspector 'claims" that a flue pipe needed to be changed to a slightly different pitch angle. I investigated the flue with a general contractor and saw no need to change the pitch because it met building specs.
The system was installed in 2007 by Home Comfort Systems. I told them about the inspector's report. They agreed with me that nothing was wrong upon their inspection.
However, to show good faith, HCS replaced the flue pipe with one at a greater pitch.
Steve, one of the owners, and one of his workers were very efficient and considerate.
The work was completed on a highly professional manner and may I say the workmanship was excellent.
If I stayed in the area, I would not hesitate to make these guys my main contact for HVAC and furnace installations and services.

If anyone needs a good A/C or heating company you need to call Home Comfort Systems located in Bolingbrook. Ask for Steve. The phone number is 630-739-5764. Here is our story. In the beginning of the last heat wave our central air decided that I would work even less than we were used to. It wouldn't cool to lower than 87 degrees downstairs, imagine the heat upstairs. I put out there on Facebook for suggestions from my friends for any reputable companies. After calling all of the companies that were suggested one in particular sticks out. He was willing to work with us so that we could afford to do what we wanted to do. He gave us a quote and left. There was no high pressure sales pitch. The night before the install he came by to check things out so that they would bring all they needed. When he went into the crawl space he realized that the current system was not installed correctly. He said that it was so bad that no air from the A/C was even piped to go upstairs. He said what was a 5 hour job just became a 10-12 hour job. For 18 years we had no clue. We just though it was because the unit was so old and because the home warranty company we had continued to put bandaids on it to get us through. Hind sight is 20/20. Next time we buy we will definitely make sure everything is installed correctly. Silly us for assuming the home inspector did his job!! Now we have our new A/C unit and had a zoning system installed as well. Its not hot outside but yesterday after they left we turned on the system and we were so excited because the upstairs actually cooled to 71 degrees much better than 80+ degrees we were accustomed to. We have never experienced that. I can't wait for it to get hot again( I don't see any hot days in the foreseeable future). Thank you friends for the suggestion and thank you Home Comfort Systems, Steve, and thank you to your friendly hard working employees!!!
