Junior was exceptional from the start. I requested quotes using Yelp projects and he took the time to understand exactly what my issue was as best he could. He was very communicative and able to schedule an inspection with me right away. After he arrived, he offered me a competitive price and completed the job thoroughly in less than an hour. He was professional, courteous, and safety-forward. He also has very calm energy, which is important when you are coming into someone else's home. I appreciate Junior so much. This project has been a headache for me for over a year and I'm so glad I found him. We have another project coming up this winter that we'll definitely be calling him for. 5-stars!

Junior came out to my home last minute in the evening and did an amazing job. My circuit breaker went out and took out the power. No matter I did I couldn't get it back on. He was able to get our power back on in no time! He explained everything along the way and was so patient and kind. Not only that, the service was totally affordable! Highly recommended!!

**Yelp Review for UV Electric** I recently hired UV Electric to install two new chandeliers in my vaulted ceilings, and my experience with them was a mixed bag. On one hand, their responsiveness and flexibility regarding scheduling were commendable. I needed a bit of wiggle room with installation dates, and they were more than willing to accommodate my requests, which I truly appreciated. On the installation date, the team started off by securely attaching the chandelier base to the existing chain and hardware. This is where things became a bit muddled. I had initially requested to change out the chain and hardware cap on the ceiling to complement the new fixtures, but somehow there was a miscommunication along the way. They ended up only installing the cap, while the existing chain remained in place. Aesthetically, I thought it looked fine, so I didn't push for them to change the chain at that time. After they completed the installation and left, I took it upon myself to add crystals to the chandelier, which of course added extra weight to the fixture. Just as I was about to finish hanging all the crystals, the chandelier unexpectedly pulled out from the ceiling, swinging precariously by the electrical cords. Thankfully, nothing fell, but it was a very stressful and unsettling experience. I reached out to UV Electric, and they quickly came back that evening. With their help, we managed to secure the chandelier back into the ceiling. It turned out that the installation team had not used the new hardware provided with the chandelier, opting instead for the old existing hardware, which couldn't support the added weight from the new fixture and crystals. While I appreciate that they were responsive and addressed the issue relatively promptly, I can't help but feel that some shortcuts were taken during the initial installation. Those choices ultimately led to a potentially catastrophic situation with the chandelier nearly falling. I believe UV Electric has the potential to deliver great service; however, I'd recommend being very clear about installation preferences and ensuring that all hardware used is appropriate for the new fixtures. With that said, could have been better in quality assurance and attention to detail, but overall, I might consider them again for future electrical work, with a bit more oversight on my part.

I hired UV Electric to replace my old knob and tube and to bring my electrical up to code with local regulations. I reached out to 5 other electians and UV Electric had done the most thorough job opening all the outlets and understanding the scope of work before they gave me their bid, which also turned out to be reasonable. Junior, who is in charge, is such a nice person. He truly wants to make you happy with your home and wants you to be satisfied with his work. Communication was great, I never had to wait a long time or follow-up with him, he responds often within minutes. Here's what he's done: - submitting a permit to the city for an extra charge. I had to produce floor plans for them. His person doing the paperwork, Rita, is great, and has been a strong communicator letting me know of progress on my permit. - covered floors and furniture - rewiring my home with Romex, running through the attic and crawl space - adding outlets and switches when too far apart from each other - moving most of my outlets out of the baseboard and into the wall above - moving my sub-panel out of a closet to a proper location about 10 feet away - installing hardwired-interconnected smoke and carbon detectors in all required rooms - closing up all the drywalls that needed to be cut open to access the wires and the old sub-panel location. He also fixed my outside lights motion sensor, which wasn't in scope and did it for free. All was done in a reasonable amount of time but it took longer than originally anticipated (what construction work doesn't? ) When it was all done, I noticed 2 baseboards weren't fully closed up properly. I let Junior know about it, he apologized, and quickly came back and caulked it all up in no time. Overall, I've been very satisfied with Junior and his team. I'll hire him again for more work. Note that they don't just do electrical, they have licenses for pretty much any construction work around the house (roof, foundations, etc.) Thank you UV Electric!
