I had been referred to Lucky Shaw for roofing services in the past, but luckily had not needed any roofing help until... I noticed evidence of water penetration on my upstairs ceiling. There was only one call I needed to make. Lucky was out asap and knew exactly what needed to be done. He gave me my options and I filed a claim with my insurance company. He even helped me interface with the insurance company, because we all know how saying one wrong word can void coverage, or at least that's how it feels sometimes. I really didn't have to figure anything out on my own. Lucky took care of everything. New roof, new fascia, new paint, new gutters, every aspect of the deal was handled with communication, respect, and honesty. I really can't say enough awesome things about Lucky and his company. We had a wonderful experience with Kahlo Construction. We called them on a Monday and Lucky Shaw, Sr. Project Manager, came the very next day to inspect our roof. He arrived on time, was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection and was able to communicate in detail the condition of our roof. Kahlo Construction also offers very fair rates. We will be calling Lucky at Kahlo Construction for all our future roofing needs.

We had a leaky roof and we contacted 5 different companies. Kahlo construction and Lucky (yes that's his real name) responded within an hour of our call. Two other highly ranked companies simply didn't reply at all. Lucky was out the very next day. He explained our repair issue and gave us a very good price. He also explained that we did have weather damage on our roof that could very well constitute a legitimate claim with our insurance company. Neither of the other companies even mentioned the opportunity for us to explore the insurance process. Lucky was able to take us through the entire process from beginning to finish. He got our roof covered by insurance and was able to upgrade our roof at no extra charge. I will also note that his repair quote was less than and more precise than the competing companies. He literally put us in charge of the situation, and provided multiple resolutions for our roofing issue. I highly recommend Lucky and Kahlo. They were amazing.

This is the third roof I have put on the roof of my house in my lifetime. And, it was the easiest. Knowing I had a few leaks around my aging air vent pipes and as well cupped shingles, I finally called to get quotes. I examined internet review sources and went with several companies. Kahlo not only underbid, they outshone them all. Their representative, Lucky Shaw, arrived on time, examined my roof and went into detail with my husband and I about shingles, drip edges, potential satellite dish issues with misaligning during installation process, roof ventilation, gutters, chimneys and a myriad of other potential issues. Lucky was thorough, knowledgeable and even petted my puppies that came to sniff at his feet. He assured me that they guaranteed everything and that one of the co-partners would be on site to oversee the job. He wasnâ t kidding. I met Manuel Jaimes when their team arrived. Manual troubleshot the whole process. He was courteous, professional, an expert in roof installations and worked alongside his men. It was hot, muggy with a heat index around 109 degrees. The men worked quietly, efficiently, starting at 7:30 A.M. and put in an unbelievable 12 to 14 hour days. My hat is off to them! The job they did was of high quality and they cleaned up the site, leaving everything in excellent shape. I am very pleased with my new roof and would recommend Kahlo â giving them gold stars for their high standards and customer service.

Manuel Jamien and his helper completed the job quickly the next day after inspecting and estimating the job. He presented the materials to be used so that I would understand why the selected materials would provide the best solution. I was glad they were able to complete the job promptly before the next rainstorms arrived. Furthermore, he was careful to place the ladder against a part of the roof so that no damage was done to the gutters. Good job!
