Transforming a Backyard Oasis
At La Perfect Paint & Deck Repair, we take pride in breathing new life into outdoor spaces. Recently, our team had the pleasure of working with Kiran G., who contacted us to help revamp their backyard deck and pergolas, which were showing signs of wear and in need of some serious TLC.
The Challenge: A Deteriorating Deck and Pergolas
When Kiran first reached out, they expressed concern about the deteriorating condition of their backyard deck and the adjacent pergolas. The joists were sagging, the wood was weathered, and the overall aesthetic had seen better days. Kiran wanted to create an inviting outdoor space for their family while ensuring it was structurally sound for safe use.
Our Approach: Expert Repairs and Refreshing Paint
Our team promptly assessed the situation and came up with a detailed plan. Here’s what we did during the transformation process:
1. Structural Repairs: We first focused on the critical structural elements. After removing the damaged sections, we replaced the necessary joists to ensure the integrity of the deck.
2. Preparation: Before applying new finishes, we meticulously prepped the surfaces. This included cleaning, sanding, and treating the wood to ensure a long-lasting bond with the paint.
3. Painting: Kiran had a clear vision for how they wanted the deck and pergolas to look, which guided our choice of high-quality paint that would withstand the elements while bringing a fresh, vibrant appearance.
4. Attention to Detail: Throughout the project, our focus remained on precision and quality. We meticulously painted each section, ensuring no detail was overlooked.
Kiran appreciated our commitment to quality and timeline, highlighting our hard work and dedication to completing the project efficiently.
> “Excellent work and thank you so much Roman and his associate for help fixing my backyard deck and pergola. Replaced the joists that needed to be, prepped and painted the deck and pergolas. The Stunning Transformation
The final result truly speaks for itself. The once-deteriorating deck is now a stunning outdoor oasis, ready for gatherings and relaxation. With fresh paint and newly reinforced structures, Kiran can enjoy their outdoor space year-round without worry.

Transforming Homes: Expert Repairs
Transforming Homes: Expert Repairs
Every homeowner knows the feeling of having an endless list of home improvement tasks that just keep piling up. When Christine R., a valued client, reached out to us, she had a mix of projects that needed a reliable handyman's touch in her home. Her concerns included installing a closet shelf, repositioning a TV and soundbar, and setting up smart home devices like a lock and doorbell.
Before: The Challenges
Before we stepped in, Christine was left with a cluttered closet struggling to maximize space and functionality. The low placement of her TV and soundbar not only affected her viewing experience but also cluttered her living area. Additionally, the existing holes from previous installations were a reminder of multiple attempted fixes that had gone awry. Her front door lacked the modern touch of smart technology, and the idea of upgrading to a smart lock and doorbell seemed daunting with such a busy schedule.
Our Process: Solutions Made Easy
When we arrived at Christine's home, we conducted a thorough assessment to understand her needs and expectations fully. Our team took a methodical approach to each task:
1. Shelf Installation: For the closet shelf, we suggested a design that optimized vertical space. Using sturdy materials, we ensured that the shelf was not only functional but also an aesthetic enhancement.
2. TV and Soundbar Repositioning: Our priority was ensuring a clean setup. After moving the TV and soundbar higher on the wall, we meticulously patched the old holes, transforming her wall into a seamless, polished surface.
3. Smart Home Installations: Installing the smart lock and Nest doorbell required attention to detail to ensure everything functioned flawlessly. Our team followed all guidelines for installation to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
After: A Remarkable Transformation
The end results were nothing short of transformative. Christine's closet now shines with its new shelf, offering a neat and organized space. The elevated TV and soundbar not only improved her viewing experience but also created an uncluttered look in her living room.
Furthermore, with the new smart lock and doorbell, her home is now equipped with modern conveniences, elevating both security and functionality.
> "It was difficult choosing 3 out of 5 of my favorite qualities about Roman, because actually he was all five! Roman did a number of jobs, including install a shelf in my closet, move my TV and sound bar higher (and patch up the messy old holes), install a smart lock on my front door, and install a Nest doorbell. He crushed them all! Additionally, he was really nice to chat with, very professional, and I can tell that the work was thoughtful and very well done. I intend to use Roman again in the future and will gladly recommend him to anyone I know!" — Christine R.
