The service technican arrived right on time; he was well mannered and professional, he kept the work area clean and neat. He unblocked the pipe that had caused the flooding, and he kept me informed every step of the way. A 2nd technician arrived to take photos of the inside of the clogged and unclogged pipe, and to advise me of the cause of the problem and how to fix it.
The bill was reasonable, and I certainly appreciate the Senior Citizen discount. Job well done!

Senior Plumber Aqiyl, is a true master of plumbing, I have worked with Aqiyl recently for a full shower trim replacement including a new gasquet and a pressure valve, toilet valve replacement, installed an expansion tank on a new water heather and replace all water hose with new ones. I am awaiting for a parts for a Kitchen single handle 3 way faucet and kitchen sink replacement, as well as the bathroom single handle faucet as sink replacement. If you hire Len the plumber be sure to ask for Aqiyl, very friendly, punctual, professional, and flexible. He will advice accordingly, to get you the best service possible to the issue you are experiencing, he will put you first.

Len the Plumber Inc. is the most incompetent and disorganized organization I have ever dealt with. If I could give zero stars I would. I encourage anyone to go literally anywhere else for their plumbing or HVAC needs.
The Beginning: The Leak Notification and Initial Scheduling
On Saturday night, August 16, my basement water sensor alerted me to a leak. Sunday morning I scheduled an appointment at 2 pm with Len the Plumber to address the issue. The plumbing technician diagnosed the leak to be the pipes above my boiler and would require a full piping replacement. I paid $2800 upfront for a full piping replacement and was coaxed into signing up for their cancel at anytime membership. The plumber left out the fact that I would have to pay the full year's membership if I wanted to cancel however.
The First Setback: Tuesday, August 19
On Monday night my basement water sensor went off again. I rescheduled the same plumbing technician to return and assess the leak again. The plumber arrived at 4 pm after I had scheduled the appointment for 11 am to 2 pm. Shortly after arriving, the plumber told me he couldn't fix the leak because he had lent out the required tools for the job and would have to return the next day at 3 pm. This was after I had taken time off of work to be at home for this appointment.
Wednesday, August 20: The No Show
I once again took off time from work to be home for my 3 pm appointment. The technician never showed. I had to repeatedly call from 4 pm to 7 pm, still no response or arrival. Around 7 pm I was told a new plumber would be rescheduled for Thursday, receiving no apology or updates on getting ghosted for my appointment. This is also when I first requested to speak to a manager over this ordeal.
Thursday, August 21: Leak is diagnosed as an HVAC problem
I requested a new plumber to come out for this remedial appointment, he diagnosed the leak to be HVAC related. The plumber assured me that there was nothing he could do and an HVAC technician would need to be scheduled. Again I requested to speak to management multiple times this day, to no response.
Friday, August 22: Leak is re-diagnosed as a plumbing problem, leak misdiagnosis, improper boiler vent installation
An HVAC technician arrived the next day and found the issue to indeed be plumbing related, once again stating there was nothing he could do and would require Len the Plumber to reschedule. A third plumber arrived in the afternoon and cut multiple sections of my wall. He told me a restoration company would be required to do demolition work and gave me their POC. Additionally, the plumber found that the boiler vent as never properly re-installed, which was likely leaking carbon monoxide into my home for almost a week. The restoration company arrived shortly after and found it to be completely unnecessary and would notify Len the Plumber to contact me over their findings. Once again, Len the Plumber never reached out as I continually asked to speak to management.
Saturday, August 23: Misdiagnosing and Re-Work
I took it upon myself to call Len the Plumber again Saturday morning to get any sort of updates on the resolution of this leak. I got the usual runaround about how I would be contacted eventually, so I decided to go to their physical location in Alexandria, VA. I immediately found a manager working at this location and relayed my story to him. He assured me he was unaware of my situation and had never been requested to speak to me after all this time. He scheduled another plumber to see me in the afternoon, and promised to cancel my membership subscription. The fourth plumber arrived and quickly diagnosed the issue to be in a different location than before, quickly patching it within an hour.
Conclusion:
Over the course of several frustrating days, I encountered a pattern gross incompetence. Instead of resolving my leak in a timely and professional manner, I was met with constant delays, misdiagnoses, unnecessary damage, and a complete disregard for my time and well-being.
