Transforming a Backyard Oasis
Transforming a Backyard Oasis
At Linck Landscape, we pride ourselves on turning outdoor spaces into stunning retreats, and one of our recent projects truly exemplifies this commitment. We had the pleasure of working with a homeowner who was facing a significant challenge: their 20-year-old backyard water feature developed a major leak. Understandably distressed, they reached out to our team for a prompt solution.
The Before: A Troubled Water Feature
When we first arrived at the property, it was evident that the water feature had not only seen better days, but it was also under serious threat from intruding roots of nearby plants. This unforeseen complication had led to multiple holes in the liner, resulting in substantial water loss and an unsightly mess. The homeowner's primary concern was to repair the leak quickly, as the feature was a beloved centerpiece of their garden.
Our Approach to the Challenge
Recognizing the urgency, we promptly scheduled a visit that same afternoon to assess the situation. After understanding the scope of the repairs needed, we provided a quote based on the belief that the job could be completed within a day. However, as we began our work, it quickly became clear that this wasn't a simple fix.
The repairs required a complete tear-down of the existing structure, significant stone removal, and a considerable amount of digging. We also determined that the installation of not just one but two liners was necessary to ensure the integrity of the water feature. Our dedicated team, led by Antonio, put in the extra effort—spending an additional two days to guarantee that everything was done right.
The After: A Beautiful, Reliable Water Feature
When the job was complete, our team successfully restored the functionality and beauty of the water feature, allowing it to flow without leaks once more. We remained transparent throughout the process and, true to our promise, we only charged the homeowner the original quoted price despite the increased scope of work. Their satisfaction was our reward, and we were delighted to hear how pleased they were with the final result.
> "Antonio and his crew were all reliable, professional, courteous, and timely. We subsequently hired them to replace the river rock in a landscape 'dry river' we had originally installed with the water feature. We would highly recommend Linck Landscape for any work required, including maintenance services." - Himee G.
