Stunning Landscape Transformation!
Stunning Landscape Transformation!
At Linck Landscape, we believe in the power of transformation. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Sarah R. on an exciting landscaping project that included cleaning up an overgrown planting bed and planting three beautiful trees. When Sarah reached out to us, her yard needed both a fresh new look and enhanced functionality.
Before the Transformation
Sarah’s yard featured a planting bed that had been overrun with grass and was in urgent need of a makeover. The grass was not only an eyesore, but it also hindered the growth of the existing plants. Sarah wanted a complete cleanup, which involved ripping out the invasive grass, installing landscape edging, and refreshing the bed with bark dust. In addition, she had a vision of adding three new trees to complete the look.
After getting multiple bids from various landscaping services, Sarah chose us. She mentioned that while her previous bids were fixed-cost estimates, our hourly pricing allowed for more flexibility. This would enable us to adjust the project scope as necessary, which ultimately appealed to her.
The Transformation Process
On the day of the project, our dedicated team of three arrived bright and early, armed with all the tools needed for the job. Here’s how we tackled the project:
1. Grass Removal: We meticulously ripped out the unwanted grass from the planting bed to prepare for the new design.
2. Trenching for Edging: Next, we built a neat trench to install landscape edging, ensuring that her planting bed would have clean, defined borders.
3. Bark Dust Installation: We spread high-quality bark dust throughout the bed, helping to retain moisture and provide a visually appealing finish.
4. Replanting Existing Plants: A few existing plants were carefully dug up and replanted to better fit the new design.
5. Tree Planting: Lastly, we planted the three new trees, strategically selected to thrive in her yard and complement the overall landscaping.
After the Transformation
The results were nothing short of spectacular! The once messy planting bed was now a charming, vibrant space. Sarah was thrilled with the outcome, and we were proud to have contributed to her vision.
> “I did three bids to clean up a planting bed around a yard and plant 3 trees... the final cost was well within the noise compared to the other bids and Antonio was great to work with. Definitely recommended :)” – Sarah R.
Sarah’s neighbors took notice of the transformation, offering compliments on the fresh look. Feedback like this reassures us that our efforts have truly made an impact, not just on our clients, but on the entire community.

Transforming Backyards with Trust
Transforming Backyards with Trust
At Linck Landscape, we take pride in revamping outdoor spaces into beautiful and functional areas for our clients. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Randy, who was eager to transform his backyard. We were thrilled when he reached out to us after discovering our high ratings on Yelp. It's always rewarding to meet new clients who have heard positive feedback about our work.
The Challenges We Faced
Randy's backyard had several large bushes that had become overgrown and outdated. In addition, his old lawn was not only unattractive but also lacking in health and vibrancy. Randy wanted a clean slate to work from, envisioning a lush new lawn that would be the perfect area for family gatherings and outdoor fun. He needed an experienced team that could not only clear the space effectively but also manage the installation of new sod while adjusting the backyard sprinklers for optimal irrigation.
Our Transformation Process
Our team stepped in professionally and promptly, ready to tackle the challenges head-on. Here’s how we approached the project:
1. Bush Removal: We meticulously removed the several large bushes that were obstructing Randy's desired view and space.
2. Old Lawn Removal: Next, we lifted the old lawn, preparing the soil for new sod and ensuring that the ground was level and ready for fresh grass.
3. Sod Installation: We carefully selected high-quality sod that was perfect for the Troutdale climate and expertly laid it down, ensuring it was well-integrated into the existing landscape.
4. Irrigation Adjustment: After the sod was in place, we took the time to adjust the sprinklers in the backyard. Our goal was to enhance watering efficiency while meeting Randy’s specific requests for his new lawn.
This careful, step-by-step process allowed us to overcome the challenges and create a vibrant, green landscape.
The Results Speak for Themselves
Upon completion of the project, we were delighted to see Randy’s reaction to his newly transformed backyard. It reflected everything he had hoped for and more—a clean, open space filled with lush grass that truly elevated the entire area.
> “We now have a lawn we love,” said Randy. “Antonio and his crew were right on time. They worked well together, and Antonio made sure to adjust all our backyard sprinklers to fit the changes we wanted!”
Not only did we leave Randy with a beautiful new lawn, but we also focused on establishing trust throughout the process. His experience with our crew reassured him that he had made the right choice by hiring us.

Transforming a Backyard Oasis
Transforming a Backyard Oasis
At Linck Landscape, we pride ourselves on turning outdoor spaces into stunning retreats, and one of our recent projects truly exemplifies this commitment. We had the pleasure of working with a homeowner who was facing a significant challenge: their 20-year-old backyard water feature developed a major leak. Understandably distressed, they reached out to our team for a prompt solution.
The Before: A Troubled Water Feature
When we first arrived at the property, it was evident that the water feature had not only seen better days, but it was also under serious threat from intruding roots of nearby plants. This unforeseen complication had led to multiple holes in the liner, resulting in substantial water loss and an unsightly mess. The homeowner's primary concern was to repair the leak quickly, as the feature was a beloved centerpiece of their garden.
Our Approach to the Challenge
Recognizing the urgency, we promptly scheduled a visit that same afternoon to assess the situation. After understanding the scope of the repairs needed, we provided a quote based on the belief that the job could be completed within a day. However, as we began our work, it quickly became clear that this wasn't a simple fix.
The repairs required a complete tear-down of the existing structure, significant stone removal, and a considerable amount of digging. We also determined that the installation of not just one but two liners was necessary to ensure the integrity of the water feature. Our dedicated team, led by Antonio, put in the extra effort—spending an additional two days to guarantee that everything was done right.
The After: A Beautiful, Reliable Water Feature
When the job was complete, our team successfully restored the functionality and beauty of the water feature, allowing it to flow without leaks once more. We remained transparent throughout the process and, true to our promise, we only charged the homeowner the original quoted price despite the increased scope of work. Their satisfaction was our reward, and we were delighted to hear how pleased they were with the final result.
> "Antonio and his crew were all reliable, professional, courteous, and timely. We subsequently hired them to replace the river rock in a landscape 'dry river' we had originally installed with the water feature. We would highly recommend Linck Landscape for any work required, including maintenance services." - Himee G.
