It has been six months and they have still not completed a bathroom renovation. Four weeks were due to a vanity issue, but that was resolved and the continued delay rests squarely with the project manager, Marc Leon. So many things have been handled unprofessionally and disrespectfully. FSI was referred to me by an architect and she will be hearing about these complaints as well. 1. During demo, the crew scratched my stainless steel refrigerator door because they decided to haul their materials through the kitchen and into the garage instead of through the front door and outside to the garage. Once I discovered this, i had to supervise to ensure they stayed out of kitchen. 2. Tile work could only be done after 5 pm or on weekends. It took much longer than it should have. There was no quality control. The bathroom floor had to be redone in areas because it wasn't level. Apparently, the crew had one piece of defective tile left for shower tile and instead of ordering another box they installed it and attempted to cover it up with caulking. Once that was discovered by me, I had to wait three weeks for more tile. No apology from Marc Leon for the deception or delay. 3. The company that provided the countertop called me almost four weeks after it was installed to tell me they had not been paid the balance owed by FSI and Marc Leon had been unresponsive to their inquiries. At this point, I had already paid 90% of the costs. 4. Even though water was available in the garage and basement, the tile installers tried to use my kitchen sink! 5. At different times throughout this project, I'd asked for an itemized expense to ensure we remained on budget, Marc could never provide it. 6. Unreliable start times. There seemed to be a consistent lack of respect for the customer. He might tell me they team will arrive at 8 am but they wouldn't show up until 10. Or I would get a text out of the blue saying someone would be there in 10 minutes to do something. 7. Shower door floor seal ripped a few weeks after installation. I've contacted Marc and no response. 8. A week ago, the county inspector reviewed the work and they did not pass. I still have not heard from Marc. He has not responded to my inquiries on when he can fix the problem so inspection can clear. I feel like I've been unbelievabley patient with FSI, but I need to move on to other more pressing matters and Marc knows it but continues to drag his heels through his unresponsiveness. If I read a review like this before contracting with FSI, I would have tried my luck with another company.

We couldn't be happier with the work done by Marc and his FSI crew. We had 3 bathrooms completely gutted and redone. They gave very useful design ideas which improved our new bathrooms. The crew was extremely competent and professional. Other parts of the house were protected while work was ongoing. The finished bathrooms are functional and elegant. We wholeheartedly recommend FSI for home renovation and improvement.

We hired FSI Renovations for our kitchen remodel, entry door and other miscellaneous upgrades including refinishing our hardwood floors. FSI did exactly what we asked for without hesitation or negotiation AND within our budget. They kept us abreast with the schedule and were accommodating by working around ours. FSI completed a total overhaul of our really outdated kitchen. Although we worked with a designer, Marc made suggestions that made the flow of our kitchen even better. Since our kitchen had not ever been renovated, Marc reworked our existing den and very small kitchen to create a true chef's kitchen. We went from a sink, fridge and 1930s stove, to high end stainless steel appliances - two sinks and two dishwashers. The install went without a hitch with everything being ready by the end of the summer. When we left for vacation, our kitchen was down to the studs --- when we returned, we had a beautiful kitchen.

We had just bought a new home and were planning to have the whole house painted before we moved in. When the painter canceled at the last minute, a friend recommended Marc and FSI renovations. Marc made time to come by the very next morning (right before leaving for a family vacation) and had a painting crew at our house that week! The painters were very respectful, clean, and timely and so easy to work with. They were able to finish painting the whole house in our quick timeline and did a BEAUTIFUL job! They then went above and beyond, agreeing to come back and touch up the paint on some baseboards that had been damaged during the move for FREE the day after I reached out. I could not recommend FSI renovations more strongly- we are so happy with the work!!

FSI Renovations, Marc Leon and his entire team are fantastic. They are thoughtful, thorough and efficient. They redid our kitchen - down to the studs - in four weeks!!! Since it was my first big renovation, Marc made a point of walking me through the process, sending me to the best vendors to select cabinetry, flooring, counter-tops and more. He walked me through the process and timeline. He taught me how best to prepare for the work taking place in our home. Changes? No problem! Advice? Happy to provide insights from his years of renovating and building. We have used him to update our current home as well as our rental property - especially after renters moved out.
