I was very happy with IMAX Plumbing. They called immediately and gave us instructions on what we needed to do to replace two toilets. When we purchased the toilets they picked them up for a small fee ($25). That was a big deal for us as we were not able to get them home. They set up the appointment right away (at our convenience). They then sent an appointment email and kept in touch until the job was complete.
The gentleman (I believe his name was Jorge) was extremely nice and professional. He explained everything he was doing and completely cleaned up and took the old toilets away when he was finish.
The price quoted was exactly as quoted.
I would highly recommend them.

Let me start at the beginning. I needed a new toilet fast, due to a water leak affecting the apartment below mine. In order to move efficiently, I went to Home Depot and picked out an appropriate toilet. The employee filled out a work order and as soon as it was submitted, I received a call from Kelly at IMAX plumbing. We set up an appointment for work to to commence at 5pm-7pm,
At 5 pm, the plumber was at Home Depot to pick up the toilet and was told no such toilet was there and the work order number was something they did not even recognize. (This was Pro Referral, the system Home Depot used.) I called Home Depot and told them, the work order was submitted and the toilet was there because I had seen the toilet (& took a photo) 4 hours ago. The employee looked and told me no such toilet was there and no charges were made. I checked my receipt and noticed the toilet was never charged.
To make a long story short, between Kelly, and David (the plumber) worked with me: He went back into the store, found the correct toilet on the shelf, paid for it, brought it to the house and completed the job, which took longer than expected due to the age of the condo building and the need to replace the flange and repair the area where the leaking occurred. He spent 3 hours scraping away a decayed flange and patched the flooring. David the plumber was so sweet and apologetic for everything that was never his fault. He was gracious, patient, missed supper and sweated 3 hours that evening to haul a new toilet up flight and undo the damage the leak had created. Kelly worked continuously with me and David to make sure all was well.
The only complaint I could even have was the cost of the flange, which David had nothing to do with and cost me over $150 even though HD sold such things for under $20. (1000% mark up?) You can see the site of my old flange below. Suffice it to say, there be the leak
David apologized profusely for a cost that was beyond his control as he was an employee and had no control over costs. Nonetheless, I happily paid because his efforts to help get me a new toilet installed went well beyond what most people would have put up with. He could have shrugged off the job at the point where no toilet, no recognized work order and no payment on my part had yet been made. He was good enough to help hunt down the toilet, Kelly paid the $199 cost up front and David stayed for hours doing a job that normally he could do in 1.5 hrs. The company did not add on extra labor costs beyond what they quoted me at the store.
I would recommend IMAX. Like to thank David and Kelly for working with me and would recommend them to anyone. In the future I would buy a flange with the toilet but what me worry?I got a leaky toilet bought installed and leak fixed in one immediate evening.
I gave David a healthy tip so he could pick up dinner for himself and family on the way home.
Home Depot needs to do something about the way they process a work order, however.
The cost of everything was under $800 including the toilet. IMAX covered all the cost and trusted me enough to bill me later. Never even asked for a charge card.
I will gladly use them for any further work.
Jorge Morales, Kelly and David. IMAX Plumbing Corp. 5 Stars for accommodating a stranger in need.
