Transforming a Backyard with Quality Fencing
Transforming a Backyard with Quality Fencing
At Mere Ramos Construction General, we take pride in delivering high-quality results that genuinely enhance our clientsâ homes and lifestyles. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Bryant W., who was in need of a reliable solution for his backyard. After being without a fence for three years, he reached out to us to install new fencing and gates to secure his property and improve its overall aesthetic.
The Challenge
Bryant contacted us after becoming frustrated with his previous experiences, where the response time from contractors was slow, and the options discussed varied significantly. His primary requirements were clear: he wanted a durable, attractive fence that would not only provide security but also enhance the beauty of his yard. After our prompt response to his inquiry and scheduling a property visit, we knew we had to exceed his expectations.
Our Approach
Understanding Bryantâs challenges, our team immediately got to work. We visited his property the day after our first conversation, which allowed us to assess the space thoroughly. Our comprehensive approach involved:
Detailed Planning: We went over every construction cost with Bryant, offering various design plans tailored to his needs.
High-Quality Materials: We ensured that the materials chosen were sturdy and visually appealing, preventing future issues such as stainingâsomething common with inferior options.
Quick Execution: We scheduled the construction to begin promptly, arriving on-site at 7:30 AM, ready to transform the space.
During the project, we encountered unforeseen challenges, including a buried concrete slab and a water pipe that had been missed in a prior inspection. However, our team's experience and well-equipped toolkit allowed us to resolve these issues quickly without causing significant delays.
The Result
In just 8 hours, our team successfully installed 23 linear feet of fencing and three gates, leaving the property looking transformed and secure. Bryant's satisfaction was unmistakable, as he expressed how pleased he was with the entire process from start to finish:
> âI cannot say enough about how punctual these guys are... Their rates were a tiny bit more than some other quotes I got (5%), but they were on-site sooner than I got return emails from some of the others. We couldn't be happier with the results. Highly highly recommend.â
We completed the projectâconcept to completionâwithin one week, a timeline that thrilled Bryant after his lengthy wait for proper fencing.
Conclusion
This project perfectly showcases our commitment to quality and reliability at Mere Ramos Construction General. Revamping a Pool Deck with Precision
Revamping a Pool Deck with Precision
At Mere Ramos Construction, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceeding our clientsâ expectations. Recently, we undertook a challenging project that involved the renovation of a swimming pool deck, and we're excited to share the details of this transformation with you.
Before: The Need for Change
Our client, Jeffrey K., approached us while in the midst of renovating their swimming pool. He faced significant challenges with the aging pool deck, which required complete removal and replacement to facilitate plumbing work. The old concrete deck not only looked worn out but was also hindering necessary updates to the underground plumbing system. Jeffrey needed a reliable contractor who could manage the removal and repouring of the concrete with precision while ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding areas.
The Transformation Process
From the moment Jeffrey reached out, our team was ready to tackle the project head-on. Knowing the urgency, we responded promptly and made ourselves available to discuss the details of the job personally. Our competitive estimate set the foundation for a smooth partnership.
Key Steps We Took
1. Demolition: We began by carefully demolishing the old pool deck, ensuring that we took necessary precautions to protect the adjacent coping and concrete slabs. Our team worked diligently, leaving the job site spotless once the demolition was complete.
2. Coordination with Other Contractors: As the project progressed, we had to seamlessly coordinate with the clientâs pool contractor, who had an unpredictable schedule. Despite the obstacles, our meticulous planning ensured that the installation of the new concrete was executed flawlessly.
3. Addressing Unforeseen Issues: During the project, we encountered several unexpected challenges, including the need to replace an old underground drainpipe and remove outdated electrical wiring. Our proactive approach allowed us to address these issues rapidly without significant delays, and we did so at a minimal charge to the client.
4. Precision in Concrete Pouring: The pouring of the new concrete deck was a critical phase that required careful attention to detail. We ensured that the in-ground pool deck drain, skimmer, and auto-fill float chamber were adjusted to match the final height and grade of the new concrete perfectly.
After: A Stunning New Pool Deck
The end result of our hard work was a beautifully refurbished pool deck that met all of Jeffrey's expectations. The new concrete not only enhanced the aesthetics of the backyard but also ensured optimal functionality for the pool renovation. Jeffrey expressed his satisfaction clearly in his review:
> âMere proved an excellent choice... Throughout the project, Mere was polite, proactive, available, and attentive to our needs. He demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail at all times. I recommend him without hesitation.â
Conclusion
This project was a testament to our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
