I got a flyer from Mills for my property. It had a lot of trees in my backyard including some that were drooping all the way on the deck. There was also a large pine tree that was very close to the roof.

Mills did a terrific job of providing a reasonable estimate and then coming over promptly and setting up their job in a careful step by step fashion. They took away all the dead/rotten trees and did a great job of cleaning the entire place. In the evening, minus the trees, we could not even recognize the place. Not a single thing was left for us to pick up.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the work done to remove 2 large linden trees from the front yard. Their quote was reasonable, the schedule very accommodating, and communication was excellent. To my surprise and delight, they finished the job in one day including grinding the stumps and all clean up. These guys come ready to work with all the equipment needed and clearly know what they are doing. All the 5 star reviews on this site are justified. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to anyone nearby needing tree work.

We called on Mills after a limb had fallen off of our 50-60 ft pine tree. The tree had to come down after a large crater was left when the branch had broken off. The tree was situated very close proximity to our neighbors house which meant we needed a company with experience and confidence. We received three quotes and after meeting with Mills we knew they were it. They were respectful and courteous. On the day they were supposed to come out they gave us a 20 minute time frame when they would be at our home. We thought this would be an all day job and it literally took them ONE hour to get it done. They did an amazing job! I would definately call on Mills Tree Service for any other work we need done.

I have used Burgess and his team twice - both big tree jobs. I give them A++. The estimate the job accurately, they know what they are doing and except for how great everything looks, you would't know that they had been there. I would refer them to anyone with complete confidence and have.

A funny story. When they were cutting down some huge trees in my yard, they disturbed a squirrels' nest. The nest fell with the babies in it. The guys stopped, went down to look for the babies, found them, put them back in the nest and put them near the tree they fell from. By evening, the mother squirrel had moved all the babies to a new nest. You gotta love that show of kindness from these guys.

Burgess Mills did great job cutting down an ash tree that had been killed by ash borer. Mills also thoroughly ground the tree trunk. The site was left clean after the work was completed. I had asked for quotes from multiple companies through Yelp and Burgess was the first one to come to the house to provide an estimate. His price was quite competitive.

They did an excellent job trimming the tree and at a great price! Very professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and they finished the job quickly. They disposed of the debris and used an air blower to clean the driveway. The tree was also killing my grass and without any prompting they provided some helpful suggestions as to how to make the grass grow better. Thank you and great job, I highly recommend them.
