I have used this tree service for several years now to deal with the large oak trees in our yard. They have done an excellent job with an extremely fair price, as we have always gotten other quotes for comparison. I'm always concerned about keeping our large oaks healthy and worry about a tree company taking too much off the tree. Mills Tree Service has always worked closely with me in figuring out what to take off, while continuing to keep our trees strong. They're very knowledgeable about the health of the trees. In addition, they've been extremely professional throughout the job and have left the site neat and clean. I would highly recommend them and know I will continue to use their services for years to keep our trees green and thriving for many years.

Mill tree service was recently called to remove several large, stormed damaged, trees that were posing a serious threat to the house. The Mills crew arrived with the necessary equipm3nt, a large crane and a shredder, and within a few hours, had completed the job.
Not only was the main service done professionally, and expeditiously, but the cleanup was done well, leaving a clean yard.

The guys came out to my property and removed 5 large trees for me for a great price. These guys are the real deal! I absolutely would not hire again and would not recommend them.
I hired them to take down a tree and grind the stump. The tree part was fine, but to me a company proves themselves when there is a problem.

When they ground the stump they went just below the ground level and took none of the large roots. They had rushed through the job and I trusted they did the job, once I went to clean up the area I saw that they basically ground it down about 6" then covered it up with the sawdust so I couldn't tell what was done, lesson learned. I talked to Burgess Mills once I discovered what they had/hadn't done and he told me what they did was the norm and they couldn't go any deeper.

I have two other arborists come out to see what more could be done. One guy looked at it and said "I hope you didn't pay them". The two quotes I've received to re-do their work said the norm is much lower and they would go out a radius of about 2 feet from the stump which was not done by Mills.

These guys were great! We wanted a tree removed from our property quickly and they offered to work on New Years Day to accommodate us. The quote we received was significantly less than any other legitimate company we spoke with. All of the workers were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. No damage was done to any of our surrounding trees or landscaping, and they cleaned up after themselves. Our experience with this company was fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have tree service done on their property.
