I had Mills back for another round of dead tree removal, but this time I was not as pleased with the service. The team was in a hurry and did not do as quality a job as the first time I worked with them. Things were a bit sloppy, with some of the dead trees striking and scarring living trees on the way down, and a miscommunication about a line wrap which dropped a large branch on a living tree and damaged it.

I know these guys are really good at what they do, so I think this was probably just a bad day for them, but I think they should schedule jobs so they are not in a rush, and always operate with the same quality of service they used the first time I worked with them, where they went above and beyond to clean up the yard and worked very carefully to protect the living trees.

I'll probably give them another try sometime, but I did want to post this constructive feedback for their team. Thanks!

Mills Tree service came out today and downed about 9 dead trees that were a danger to our house and children. Additionally they pruned 3 decorative trees and cleaned up a large area of brush. Their climber and entire crew were safe, professional and efficient. It was a lot of work and was completed in about 4 hours including cleaning up the downed trees.

What a great team!
The Mills operate this family-owned business and are great people - responsive, thorough, and professional.
The entire work crew of 6, including the owners, worked diligently and efficiently.
7 trees down, 7 stumps ground, debris removal, cleanup, and chipping - wonderful job!
I recommend, wholeheartedly, Mills Tree Service!
I shall use them again in the fall!

Do not deal with this company, the worst company ever, extremely rude, they dared to leave over a ton of chips without my authorization, just because they were lazy enough to take the chips back...and it was not even tree that was cut....it is disgusting how this company behaves and he dared to say we had to pay for them to get it back when we never asked for those services
