Roof Leak & Hidden Hail Damage Fixed

When a Roof Leak Led to a Much Bigger Discovery Sometimes a routine service call turns into something far more significant — and this project in Waco, TX is a perfect example of why a thorough inspection matters just as much as the repair itself. When Caroline first reached out to us at Mr.ROOFing & Gutters, her concern was straightforward: a roof leak that needed to be tracked down and fixed. She had already been in contact with other contractors, none of whom had been able to fully resolve the issue or give her a complete picture of her roof's condition. She was understandably frustrated and just wanted someone to get the job done right. What We Found When We Got Up There Our lead, John, headed out to take a close look at the roof. Yes, there was the leak — but as he worked through his inspection, something else caught his eye. Significant hail damage, spread across the roof in a way that simply couldn't be ignored. This wasn't minor surface wear. It was the kind of damage that, left unaddressed, would have led to far bigger problems down the road — and potentially a much more expensive repair. The striking part? Not one of the other contractors Caroline had spoken with had flagged it. This is exactly the kind of thing we look for on every job. We don't just fix the problem you called about — we make sure we understand the full condition of your roof before we leave. Getting to Work: A Full Roofing Project, Completed in One Day Once we walked Caroline through everything we found and agreed on a plan, our team got to work. Here's what the project involved: - Addressing the original leak — identifying the source and making sure it was properly sealed - Repairing the hail damage — which was more extensive than a quick patch job would cover - Full quality inspection before wrapping up to confirm everything was done to standard Despite the scope of the work, our team completed the entire roofing project in a single day. We know homeowners don't want their lives disrupted any longer than necessary, so we came prepared, worked efficiently, and didn't cut corners to hit that timeline. What Caroline Had to Say > "John and his team did an amazing job! They were professional, efficient, and completed the entire roofing project in just one day without compromising quality. Highly recommend their services! > > I was especially appreciative of John because he reviewed our roof for a leak, but also found hail damage that none of the other contractors we contacted had noticed. It was significant hail damage that we otherwise would not have known!" > — Caroline, Waco, TX ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Why This Kind of Work Matters Central Texas weather is no joke.
