We recently completed a home remodel project with NuHorizon Remodeling and were very happy with both the work they did and the service they provided! We replaced our windows, flooring, kitchen counter, and front door; removed pocket doors; and painted both the interior and exterior, among a few other updates. Alon and his team were great to work with. He provided us with the information and contacts we needed for sourcing the finished materials, which helped a lot. I appreciated our periodic meetings with Alon, where we reviewed the progress and discussed the plan for the upcoming week. The team managed to finish our project early, which was amazing. Alon and his crew take extra care to do things right. Even after our project was completed, Alon and Eli quickly addressed a few small issues we noticed. They did a fantastic job installing a mini-split in my garage to keep it cool. They’re very honest and straightforward people who take ownership of delivering a fantastic result and make things right if anything doesn’t work right.

They estimated the size of unit I needed from the area, but it wasn’t keeping the garage cool enough after installation. After sending some extra help to investigate, they ended up replacing the unit with a larger one in addition to some work to better insulate the garage by filling in some gaps between the garage door and garage framing that were letting the cool air out. I agreed to pay increased material costs (I’d previously paid for the original mini split price exactly), but they ended up redoing a bunch of the labor without charge.

Obviously it would have been better to understand it wasn’t going to work right from the beginning and know the full cost of it working out, but I ended up paying about 10% more on materials while they are the labor difference and everything worked to keep the garage cool as originally planned when we ran into a special. I’ll definitely be using them again!
