I had a last minute emergency bathroom renovation prior to moving in and found Peter Renovations on yelp. He came out the same day I called and gave me a quote, started the demo prior to me moving and completed it in an unbelievable 5 days which was much appreciated and needed since it is the only bathroom. I was very impressed and grateful for Jimmy's and Peter's craftmanship, speed and honesty and I'm very grateful I found Peter Renovations. Thank you Peter and Jimmy!

We absolutely love our new shower. Everyone who worked on this project were professional and friendly. They were timely and finished as promise. It was a pleasure working with Piotr and his team!

I would strongly advise exercising caution when working with Peter - something I chose to do based on all these glowing reviews. He remodeled both my bathroom and kitchen. He DID NOT do the bulk of the actual work, he clearly sub contracted people whose experience-level is questionable at best. I had to call him several times to point out issues like (consider this a sampling): the floor tile pattern being off (which to his credit was fixed with new tile, but surprise--there are clearly rough patches of grout in highly visible areas, and there was no attempt made to be mindful of how things would look around the radiator), missing grout in both the kitchen and bathroom (which is still an issue), a poor paint job and smoothing of the walls prior to installing cabinets in the kitchen (so yes, I have areas of my walls where what I can only assume is spackle that was just painted over), an attempt to leave the sideboard next to the refrigerator completely crooked, no transition between the end of the tiles in one room and entry into another, and a kitchen cabinet installed so close to the microwave that now every time I open the cabinet it makes a loud squeaking sound where it's grinding against the microwave and wearing down that portion of the cabinet (his advice after me sending him multiple text messages that initially went ignored - use WD40). Feel free to message me and I'll send you some pics if you like. These are just the things I can see, so you can bet I'm really worried about what is happening behind everything and what I'll experience in a few years time. The best part was that he never even came back to really wrap it up and make sure I was happy with how things turned out. I wonder why. The extra star is only for the low cost, but then again, you get what you pay for. I should have known better or maybe even cut ties partway through.

If you do secure him as your contractor - make sure you're there to watch everything that's happening at all times and to correct in the moment. Otherwise, good luck.

1. Availability & Responsiveness- He is easy to get ahold of and responds quickly (such a rare quality!). He also personally came to the site every single day to check on things and stayed around to talk if we had any questions or wanted to discuss anything. We always felt like an important priority for Peter, even though he of course has many projects.

2. Communication - He was very open, honest, and thorough in all project-related communications. He's also super friendly, funny, and down to earth. I enjoyed getting to know more about him and looked forward to seeing him each day!

3. Commitment - In a big, complicated project, there is bound to be something that comes up unexpectedly. Peter and his team were committed to a quality outcome that we were satisfied with and went above and beyond (even redoing work at times) to ensure the project was completed successfully.

4. Value Add - His approach to the estimate and payment process was not overly burdensome and he did not send us a bunch of change orders or nickel and dime us for every tiny update. In several places, he did more than the estimate was scoped for - with no additional charge - just because he noticed it needed done, wanted to make things more convenient for us, or thought it would improve the result.

Our project involved changing layouts, removing walls, heated flooring, and other aspects that require deep subject matter expertise and strong attention to detail. Peter knows his stuff. We really valued his experience and had peace of mind knowing things were being done right. The quality of the work was exceptional. He also had ideas throughout the process for ways to improve design, functionality, and longevity - which we greatly appreciated.
