Plumbing issues never happen at a convenient time, so I attribute negative reviews for Plumb-It to people who are already stressed out over last minute repairs and the last minute bill that comes along with it. We were very happy with Plumb-It's service and prices.

We discovered some water in our basement one morning, all pooled in one area. When we looked up, we saw water rolling off of one of the pipes. It appeared it may have come from the air duct, and since we just had new A/C installed, I wanted to believe it was condensation or a mistake on behalf of the A/C company. After the A/C company came back and checked it out, they delivered the news that it was a broken pipe.

I asked for recommendations, I called a different plumbing company first and got no answer, but Plumb It was available. While on the phone, he advised me that to come out that evening would put them in emergency call hours - meaning big bucks spent by us. While it was something that needed attention quickly, I decided to wait until the following day, and we turned the water off for the night. I really appreciated how straightforward he was on the phone.

The following day, Plumb It arrived not on time, but EARLY. The problem was quickly diagnosed and we were given two options for repair, both of which involved drilling. My husband called me on the phone (knowing I'd have a cow if I came home to weird drill holes and pipes sticking out of the wall), and Plumb It didn't seem to mind the delay. They were also upfront about the costs - one option was less costly than the other. We ultimately went with their preferred option, which was also the less expensive one.

The job was complete in no time at all and they cleaned up after themselves before leaving. Yes, I wish I had been able to spend $300 on a variety of other things, but homeownership is a bitch like that.

Plumb It was recommended to me by a friend when I had a clogged toilet. Scott squeezed me into his schedule the morning after my call and he charged me far less than I was expecting. I have since recommended Plumb It to many friends and relatives who have all been very satisfied with the work and price.

WOW! This guy is one of a kind!! He truly cares about his customers, and even during off hours. Scott (the owner) returned my call and quickly set up some time to come out to assess my plumbing situation. He provided an estimate, and actually had to be a little creative with his solutions--this is one smart guy! Example: I had several other plumbers out who suggested that I had to replace an entire device, but Scott figured out how to replace just a unique cartridge, at a fraction of the cost! He also installed a new garbage disposal, hot water heater and battery back-up sump about 3 years ago, and I haven't had a single issue. He has always provided great customer service with a smile--and truly, at a very fair price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this guy & his team. This is the 2nd time I have had him out, and I am sold!

SO...I have to say, I was a little surprised to see that Plumb-It received all SUPERB reviews, but for one, recently..however, once I ventured to the dissenter's page, it seems that ALL of this guy's reviews are only 1-star. It saddens me that people thrive on damaging the good reputation of others.

Anyway, Plumb-It is a 5-star company. Great work at a fair price. What more could anyone ask for?

Over the years I have used Plumb-It for routine jobs (like disposal and water softener replacements) and emergency jobs (like a burst water pipe). They are always professional and do very high quality work at a fair price. They also go above and beyond the norm in their job clean-up. They also show up on time and are very professional. I happily recommend Plumb-It to my friends! We are grateful to have found a plumber we can trust to get the job done well and at a great price.

Scott has saved me many times. He has fixed a leaky pipe behind our shower and yesterday he saved my sanity. My husband travels for work and of course when he left my bathtub decided to not to turn off. I tried to tighten the handle and that didn't work. I called him about 645 and he was at our house within the hour. He identified the problem and fixed it right away. Unfortunately we are on a well so we couldn't wait till the next day to have it fixed since we had the entire water turned off at our house. However Scott did offer that suggestion so I wouldn't get hit with the emergency call fee. He was professional and explained what the problem was. I know if there is ever an emergency to call him and his team. They are great.
