PlumbSmart is by far the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of using. I am so incredibly disappointed with how bad of a job they've done. We had them come out and check on our dripping AC unit back in March of 2024. The technician that quoted us on repair and replacement prices was nice and knowledgeable. We decided to replace the entire unit and heating elements and scheduled the day and time. That's where everything went downhill.
They came to replace the AC unit and it seemed to go fine. Until 2 days later when the AC unit started to leak again. So we called them and they came out again. And then everything was fine for a few more days until it started to leak for the second time. A Technician came out again and was able to actually fix the issue (only after drilling into our wooden trim). After that we didn't have problems with leaking. That's when the next problem started.
They said we needed a new AC vent cover, as we were in a condo with a unit in the ceiling. So they measured everything and told us they would need to custom order the cover and that it would take a couple weeks to get that in, and that they would call us when it was ready. Flash forward 2 months and still no call. My husband reached out multiple times to inquire about it was was told again and again that it was almost ready or that there was a delay. After 5 months of this I called them to ask about it and they lied and told me they had actually just called my husband about it, when he had no record of any calls from them that entire month. After thay they let us know they'd need to come and remeasure, even though they'd already done so twice.
So they came and went and scheduled a time to put in the cover. They came back with their cover a week or 2 later and it wouldn't fit. So they remeasured. And they rescheduled. And they came back. And their custom cover still would not fit. So they left again, only after breaking the old vent cover and cutting an unnecessary hole in our drywall. Finally my husband let them know we just wanted a refund for the amount we paid for the cover and that we would get it done somewhere else. That is when their manager, Brandon, got ahold of us and apologized and said they wanted to make it right, so we'd get that discount plus another for how terrible they'd been and they'd also fix the vent. Sounded promising.
A technician came by again and somehow installed a vent that fit. He was about to leave when I asked about the large gap of drywall that had been cut out between the vent and the wall (about 3"x18"). He asked me 'what about it?' and I asked him when he was going to fix it, because it obviously couldn't be left like that. He shrugged and told me he couldn't do anything about it and I should just call in or something. Then he left and I saw the giant mess he had left on the ground and hadn't cleaned up.
Again, we called the office and they sent me to a different part of their office where they dealt with stuff like that and they came out and fixed it. That part was fine. At that point we were just waiting to hear back from the manager regarding the discount. This might come as a giant shock, but he stopped answering my husband's calls or texts. In the end, someone else finally reached out and tried to offer a very small refund and future store credit. After realizing we wanted no work done by them ever again, they just offered a 6% partial refund.
What reminded me to write this review was that now that it is getting cold we started to use our new heater. Imagine our surprise when it started having the same issues as the old one that the technician replaced. They came out the next day to fix it and said they did. We just found out this morning that the heater is still not working properly.
So, if you do decide to go with PlumbSmart to do any work for you make sure you have their year long warranty because you'll probably need to use it often. And make sure to be home the entire day that they say they might come, because they love to come an hour early or 3 hours late with no notice.

Professional and reliable service starting with the office person who took my request call. Jacob the tech arrived on time and called ahead to let me know when he was on his way. He conducted a thorough evaluation,, clearly explained the diagnosis, and completed the repair during the same visit. Reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with PlumbSmart. I can honestly say, I can't remember the last time I had a plumber at my home that was more knowledgeable, considerate and helpful. They ended up having to come out twice because I needed to get a different part but they honored their original quote and resolved the issue with my water heater. I just recently learned they also provide all kinds of other services including Handy Man and I will be calling them again!

I scheduled an annual water heater service along with some questions about fixing faucets, etc. The service attendant was professional and was able to schedule a technician. They sent Devin Stiger an excellent technician he was professional, courteous, and respectful of property, and all questions I had were answered so that I could learn about the systems he worked on from faucets to the water heater.
