Trevor was awesome! He evaluated what needs to be done for a kitchen remodel and explained all of our options clearly. He also found a leak in our water heater that we didnāt even know about. We seem to need a plumber more often than weād like, but weāve always had great service from all of Radiantās technicians!

I am a Registered Nurse, work from home and take care of my 81 yr-old mother who has asthma and is on Oxygen 2Lpm. Over a week ago, our AC unit needed replacing. We purchased a new AC unit from Radiant and they sent two Lead Installer's to our house with the unit on 08/04/2023. About three hours after they began working, my mother came to get me because she was having difficulty breathing. She stated, "there is a terrible smell in the house and I can barely breathe." Immediately, I asked Anthony Pinkston (Lead Installer) what the smell was. He told me that he "spilled a sealant next to the AC unit outside." I asked him to show me the substance because my mother was highly allergic to many substances. The substance was "WELD ON 780 PVC Plumbing" which, after reading the label, I discovered was "highly flammable liquid and vapor." Anthony brought in a large metal fan and opened the door to let the fumes out. The next day the new AC unit was not cooling our house to the temperature on the thermostat so Radiant sent out a technician. After asking for the manual for the new unit, the technician added a pound of coolant to the new unit. Five days later, on 08/09/2023, the thermostat for our new unit displayed "Cooling problem." So Radiant sent out another technician, Justin Blair, two days later, on 08/11/2023. After diagnosing the new system and correcting it, Justin reported that "the sensor wires were not installed properly and if condensation were to have increased, the system would not have shut off as it is supposed to." I was shocked. Later that day, I reported it to Nicole, a Radiant customer relations manager, who presented the details to her supervisors. After speaking with them, she called and asked me how the fumes came into our house. I told her to ask her installers that question. She stated she had and that "they did not know." I let my mother talk to her, since she did not believe me. My mother told her how she "had difficulty breathing the day the Radiant technicians installed the new unit because of the terrible chemical smell and had to use her rescue inhaler." I asked Nicole if she had talked to her supervisors about the improperly installed wires and she told me they were "still investigating it." She told me she would share the new information she received from my mother with her supervisors and get back with me but that "it was too late in the day" and she would get back with me as soon as she could. It was 2:30 pm CST on 08/11/2023 when she hung up. No one from Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning has contacted me since.

If there was an option for negative stars I would give it. They sold me on their reliability and focus on quality. Even said their trane units are more reliable than other cheaper units. I installed two new units, and since the install one has been broken and weāve been without AC for 2 weeks. Canāt get a manager, and every crew that shows up canāt fix the issue. No reimbursement or any ability to fix anything. Iād expect better from a company with a premium price
