We needed to replace a 40 year old gas furnace with a heat pump as well as a gas wall heater with a mini split -- a big job spanning multiple floors and a separate living unit. We went with Santizo HVAC over other bids from companies with hundreds of reviews based on their great communication and competitive pricing, and boy did we make the right call!
The Santizo crew completed the work in 4 days, which was right on schedule with their estimate. They did a great job communicating about decisions (such as how to best match a duct cover that needed to go over craftsman style wall paneling, and where to place an outdoor unit), were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the end results were great! We haven't needed to use the AC yet, but everything worked well when we tested the new system, and I have confidence that if we have any issues they will address them; the Santizo HVAC team are real professionals and I know they'll stand behind the quality of their work. We plan to work with them again on an upcoming project, and I'd highly recommend them for big or small jobs!

Santizo brothers installed a 3 ton GREE side discharge heat pump hvac system replacing an old gas furnace in our attic and a 15+ year old R-22 based compressor outside, and replaced a 50 gallon gas water heater with an 80 gallon Rheem proterra heat pump water heater.
The water heater passed inspection on the first visit. For the HVAC system, the air handler in the attic needed one small adjustment which was to make sure the condensate / drain line was mostly straight/in line with the slope of the air handler unit (which lays horizontally) so that the p-trap would not be sloped at too much of a downward angle causing it to lose its water barrier. Eric made the necessary adjustments and the HVAC inspection has passed.
I talked to 14+ HVAC / plumbing companies before doing this work and Santizo brothers are the smallest company, but I think I would still go with them for these main reasons:
1) Price + willing to negotiate, they weren't the lowest price initially but Eric did match another bid. Also going with one company for both hvac and hpwh would be more efficient for me.
2) Waiting until after inspection passes for a portion of the final payment (e.g. $1k or 5-10%), negotiable.
3) Working quickly with the inspector to make sure they're happy, even on weekends (luckily the inspector was also available to see pictures over the phone on a Saturday).
Most companies won't do (2) or (3). Santizo bros. are very flexible, won't try to upsell you, and will work with your budget and schedule.

We had two old broken gas wall heaters replaced with a new heat pump mini split system.
After getting quotes from four companies, we knew the Santizo Brothers were who we should go with.
They have excellent communication, are responsive, patient, and detail-oriented. They are priced very competitively and made us feel like our business was genuinely important to them. They always let us know when they'd be arriving and were always on time. They even had the whole job done in a single day!
They helped us figure out the right solution that fit our budget and even went the extra mile to make sure the job would be future proofed for when we eventually go fully electric and replace our upstairs furnace, too.
Highly recommended, would definitely work with Santizo again!

I had a very disappointing experience with this HVAC technician. He initially told me he could move the ductwork and cover the old return with the existing floor, but once he started the job, he suddenly changed his story and said that wasn't possible--leaving me with the prospect of a hole in the ground.
When I told him I didn't want to proceed under those conditions, he left without reconnecting the duct to the original return--and didn't even bother to inform me. I only discovered this after checking myself. This careless oversight left my home exposed to potential pests and airflow issues until someone else could come fix it.
To make matters worse, he also left holes in my floor that he never disclosed. This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before hiring this person. Quality HVAC work should include honesty, transparency, and responsibility--none of which I experienced here
