Tony Sharpton sent his technician, Manny, and also his helper, Pedro to my house to install a ceiling fan. Pedro was a great helper and very easy going.
Of the five electricians who bid the job, Sharp Tec Electrical Services was the best choice! First, they arrived at the agreed-upon time. Then, I was so pleased by their work - Manny and Pedro worked very efficiently/cooperatively together. Manny's experience and knowledge are IMPRESSIVE. Not only that, but I must've asked him 100 questions about other electrical work that I'd like to have done and not once did I feel stupid for asking. He was friendly and answered all as if he were a patient teacher, sharing his knowledge with a student.
Sharp Tec's prices: REASONABLE - remember, four other bids were obtained, so I speak with confidence about pricing. I will choose Sharp Tec for everything Manny and I discussed: Replacing a ceiling light with a ceiling fan; moving an on-off switch from one side of a wall to the other side to make it more convenient to operate; installing an additional electrical outlet to the master bath; installing pendulum and eyeball-type lighting (Manny's suggestion) in the kitchen - it will be such a relief to get these upgrades completed by an electrician whom I can trust. THANK YOU, Tony and Manny!!!

Our meter box was falling off of the wall so I called around looking for someone to give me a quote. I struggled to find anyone who could give me an idea of what this would cost. You can't afford to deal with surprise costs when money is tight, and it seems like everyone has various fees tacked on.
I found Sharp Tec on Nextdoor and decided to reach out. I prefer texting and was really happy that Tony was available to text and to provide an estimate. Having that ballpark estimate immediately and the quick communication made it an easy choice.
I assumed it was a mounting issue and a quick fix but Mannie and Pedro came out and quickly figured out my wonky foundation was pulling it down. They needed to get supplies and I didn't think I'd be able to afford the new price of repair so we planned on scheduling for a future visit. However, soon after they left I realized I could afford it and went ahead with scheduling the repair. They managed to come right back out that same evening to complete it. It ended up needing a slip riser installed which will prevent this issue from happening again. He also tidied up the mess of cables left behind from various things by the previous homeowner.
What's most important to me when choosing services like this is personability and trustworthiness. If I get that salesman-type vibe I choose someone else regardless of price. I never felt like they were trying to upsell. They were nothing but kind and honest. I am a DIYer but don't mess with electricity so I asked if I could watch because I was curious and Mannie went above and beyond answering my questions by explaining things to me like a teacher would. I really appreciated that.
We're relatively new homeowners and have been looking for our go-to electrician and I think we finally found them.

I can’t give a high review on this company since the associate he used to do the electrical didn’t get the wiring for the new kitchen in the right places. Next to a 33” sink base is a dishwasher. All dishwashers are 24”. He put the outlet for the dishwasher past that area so it have to hire someone to come and move it. Wiring is coming from above and below my pier and beam house to the outlet. Also, the under cabinet plug molding was installed too close to the window on both sides. That all has to get moved and sheet rock installed where the holes were cut for their electrical. Also, the three light switch in the hallway is done incorrectly and the guy wouldn’t put my fan switch on there. The light switch to the hallway gave me an electric shock recently. I can hear it giving me a funny sound when I turn the switch off slowly. They also could have put the outlets in the kitchen…they just left wiring in the plastic electrical boxes in the wall. Also, the associate installed an outlet for my clothes washer in the utility room about a foot above the back of the washer. They did come back and move that down behind the washer. They were going to put in the rest of the electrical like the island snd above the sink light snd install the under cabinet plug molding…now the main owner is ghosting me. They put in an electrical panel outside…I’m wondering about how good the breaker switches are…they seem rather cheap. One doesn’t go all the way over like the others. Be careful about who you hire, and you can’t always go on high reviews. I could have used another electrician and really wish I had now.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They replaced my old Federal Pacific Stab-Lok electrical Panel. These guys are AWESOME. They are licensed, bonded, and insured. I received 6 quotes from various companies in the area and they were BY FAR the best quote. They were on time, professional, and a dream to work with. They are definitely my new electricians. They do excellent work for a reasonable price.
