FBC did an excellent job in remodeling our finished basement.

We recently bought a new house and the basement was already finished but needed some remodeling. We had contacted FBC to see what they can do and they came up with an impressive design on what our space could look like. After careful decision, we decided to go with FBC and we have been very happy with our choice. FBC handled all aspect of the project, all trade vendors were scheduled, on-time and the work done by everyone was beautiful. We did have a slight delay with our cabinets but due to high demand and around thanksgiving, this was expected. Even with the delay, the project completed on-time. Everyone that worked on the project were very professional, Dominic (PM) was on top of everything and provided timely updates. In the end, we love our new space and we would definitely have FBC do other project in our home. THANK YOU FBC!!

We reviewed three companies and still went with FBC to complete our basement project in Wheaton IL. Despite being a bit premium priced from their peers and a bit out of our budget, we still chose FBC due to a few reasons:
- The initial designers we met weren’t pushing for a sale
- A few design suggestions they came up with were more unique than the others and they showed genuine interest in understanding our needs
- The documentation produced and overall communication about the project process was thoughtful, clear and felt very reliable & professional.

We are very delighted to report that FBC lived up to all our expectations. Project was started and finished on time with absolutely no hassle. The team not only delivered to scope but accommodated all our change requests that arose while the project was on-going. The overall quality of the work completed and the way the project was managed was world class.

A special shout out to the FBC Naperville team. Matt and Rachel were the first to entice us to start with the partnership and came up with the initial design options. Dominic our project manager was on top of all things, regularly visited the site and constantly communicated. One thing we really appreciated in Dominic is that, whenever he visited the site and noticed something that needs to be addressed or could be done differently, he proactively gave us advice which were prudent and we followed it on almost all occasions. All trade partners they worked with, were warm and friendly but we want make a special mention of Omar and team who did the drywall and paint work. They were extremely friendly, responsive to our needs and did a fabulous finish. They always demonstrated a can-do attitude and what’s more leveraged unused materials creatively to our benefit.

One thing we do want to mention is that FBC was transparent on cost throughout the project. Although we signed up for a premium service, they were fair about material costs on any changes and we could work with them to find options that fit within our budget.

Overall, we are very delighted about the end product.

We are very pleased with the design-build process with FBC. During the design process, our designer, Rachael, created two 3D interactive models for us to consider, and even better, we were able to make real time changes to the design so that we could see exactly how it would look. FBC suggested several additional design features (i.e. detailed ceilings, columns), and we are glad we incorporated them into our design. It separates a standard basement from one that is truly exceptional and noteworthy to your friends. Concurrent with our basement finishing, FBC also remodeled our laundry/mud room, making it a much more functional space.

Our project was completed on time and on budget. The FBC team spent several hours before construction to measure and investigate potential issues prior to starting construction. Our construction project manager, Dominic, was extremely detailed during the layout and discussed with us the few construction issues we did encounter. We really cannot say enough about their foresight, the construction strength of FBC’s team, and the management of their subcontractors.

All of FBC’s subs were exceptionally friendly, hardworking, and went the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied with their work. In addition to the quality of the work, each trade would clean at the end of the day.

FBC did a fantastic job in the design and construction of our basement, and we would recommend them.

FBC just completed our basement finishing project and we couldn’t be happier with the work that the entire FBC team has done. They provided a high quality experience from the first design meeting with Matt and Rachel through to the final touches on the space. We just finished our basement with FBC and it looks incredible. A really cool space. What I liked about the company is they have an on-line calendar, so you know what and who to expect. They stick to schedule. I also loved that they truly work with you - I incorporated some old stuff, which is never easy to work with, and they did it enthusiastically. Also no issue if you want to buy stuff yourself and maybe save some money. Our project manager was Dominic and he responded very quickly to any text. Communicated really well and was super organized and a really nice guy to work with.

FBC and their amazing team of talented craftsmen totally transformed our family room & kitchen area ! They have a great process that includes providing you with a complete computer generated design concept that you can see before you begin and work with you throughout the entire process from materials selections to closeout. Matt and his team (Rachel, MaryAnn, Dominick) were great to work with and were low pressure, very customer oriented and made sure we loved our finished project. The work schedule was fast and on-time and they handled changes without any hassles. We could not be more pleased with the outcome and look forward to working with them again on updating our foyer and maybe a bathroom or 2 !
