I'm late in doing this review, but I realized I was remiss as I was contacting them for another estimate! The Stonemen did a fantastic job removing a stump and driveway ramp behind our garage so that we could plant a row of trees. They also installed stone pathways in our back garden, and they look beautiful. They did a great job and were reasonably priced--couldn't ask for more--and I'm pretty picky...

I contacted Stoneman because of their great Yelp reviews. I wanted a quote on building a 18"-2' planter in the front of my house, plus to discuss an additional project -- a patio with firepit and a walkway. The first person I spoke with said my project was not too small but that their schedule was busy until June. I told him that I was not in a hurry so that would be okay with me. We scheduled an appointment for someone to come to my house the next day between 3-5pm to look at the project and give me a quote. On the day the person was scheduled to be there, I received a phone call asking questions about the project. I said I would meet at the house, but the person told me their schedule was busy for the next two months. I reiterated that I had told the previous person that I was not in a hurry, but he insisted they were too busy. I am disappointed b/c I took time off of work to meet the person at my house and they cancelled last minute. I wish the person I spoke with originally had just said no. Perhaps my projects were too small for Stoneman but they didn't want to say so?

Stoneman Landscaping was fantastic. I got quotes from five different contractors. The other four contractors kept telling me that certain parts of the job were going to be overly difficult and prohibitively expensive and priced out different, cheaper options. The folks at Stoneman came in, listened to what I wanted, and sent me a quote that beat everyone else's prices by a good margin. I was a little nervous that maybe they'd cut corners but I kept asking questions and they kept answering them to my satisfaction so I went with them.

They finished my project in two days. They built a 35-foot privacy fence along the back of my property, a 12x12 cement patio in the backyard, laid sod down on a 35x35 area, and repaired a slate retaining wall that fell into disrepair several years after a local, reputable landscaping company put it up. They did fantastic job! Quality construction all around with no corners cut.

There were also an incredibly professional organization. The other contractors were all late to come by for estimates, took a while to get quotes back, etc. Stoneman was at my house promptly at the time agreed upon, got me a quote within a couple of days, didn't complain when I asked for more time before I made a decision, and had a team at my house less than two weeks after I signed the contract.

I am very happy that I went with Stoneman and I've already recommended them to all of my friends. I'm including before, during, and after shots of their work.

So good we used them twice! Alberto and his crew did such a good job on our front walk and stairs we had him redo our back patio. Alberto helped us design something that looks great and fix the drainage issues we had. His crew was clean, professional, and very nice to our you children that enjoyed watching them and their tools.

His prices were very fair and his work was excellent. I will definitely use him for any future projects.

My wife and I are very happy with the work of Stoneman Landscaping on a multi-patio project at our home. They replaced a small patio and sidewalk at the front entrance, replaced a deteriorating deck in the back with a spacious patio and sitting wall, and added a medium size patio off the master bedroom. They also added walkways connecting the three. Alberto, the company owner, was very helpful during the entire process from design to construction. We saw him frequently checking on progress, and was always available to answer questions or address concerns. The crew arrived early and were very skilled and efficient. I also appreciated how they would clean up the site at the end of each day. I would use Stoneman Landscaping again on future projects.
