Bill at Thermal Eagle is nothing short of a superhero in an HVAC uniform! If I could give him 50 stars, I'd do it twice.

Of course, my A/C decided to call it quits during the hottest week of the year, when the temperature was pushing 105+ degrees. Because, you know, it's not a real emergency unless you're at risk of melting. I did the usual dance: scoured Google and Yelp, found a company with over 2000 glowing 5-star reviews, and locked in an appointment for 2:00 PM, two days later.

Now, we all know contractors have a special talent for being late, so I gave them a solid five-hour grace period before I started hunting down an ETA. After waiting an hour for a text back (spoiler: it never came), I called the company only to be serenaded by their voicemail, informing me that they were closed for the day. They promised to call me back in the morning, but by that point, I was pretty sure I'd be a puddle by sunrise.

Enter my daughter with the save of the century: she told me about Bill. I called him up, and in a blink (okay, 15 minutes), he was at my door, ready to do battle with my misbehaving A/C unit. It turned out the poor thing was freezing up because the evaporator coils were dirtier than a teenager's room. Bill didn't just give it a quick once-over; he spent three solid hours cleaning those coils, all the way until 10:30 PM!

And here's where it gets wild. When it came time to settle the bill, I found myself in a reverse haggling match. I'd never in my 62 years on this earth fought so hard to give someone more money! I even tried to triple the amount, but Bill wouldn't hear of it. We finally compromised at double what he was asking--which, by the way, was still half of what other HVAC contractors would've charged.

But wait, there's more! My ancient 33-year-old outside compressor, which had miraculously survived as long as Methuselah, was leaking. Trying to fix it would've made about as much sense as patching up the Titanic with duct tape. Bill, being the legend he is, hooked me up with an entire new system at a price that would make other companies weep.

Bill is a young guy, just starting out, but his ambition, integrity, and honesty are off the charts. I'd trust him with my wallet, my house keys, and even babysitting my of-age daughters with a bottle of whiskey nearby. If you need HVAC help, do yourself a favor and call Bill. You'll thank me later.

We are so happy to have found Bill! He was responsive, communicative, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned out our HVAC system, talked us through it, and cleaned out our dryer vent. We will definitely be calling him again in the future!

What a wonderful company with reasonable & fair price. Bill is very knowledgeable & honest. He was able to come the day I called. Arrived right on schedule, had the part needed, & checked everything. I highly recommend Thermal Eagle HVAC & he is now my go to for HVAC. If in the future, I need a new unit, he will be who I contact for sure. He was patient & kind answering all my questions. Explained & showed me the problem & the readings on his instruments. Since I am an older woman & live on my own, I did my research on YouTube then scoured for a company to help. My A/C all of a sudden was not cooling. I tried the suggested things I could do...like batteries in the thermostat & the air filter. Beyond that I needed help. Bill was excellent. He arrived and immediately told me what his plan was. He was constantly communicating with me and giving me recommendations on what he thought was the best way forward. He was extremely transparent with his work. I’ll definitely be hiring him again for all my future HVAC in inquiries.
