Matt responded quickly to my request for an estimate to re-sod my yard. He set an appointment within a couple of days. He showed up at the scheduled time, and together, we assessed the situation and discussed what needed to be done.

Within hours, a detailed proposal was in my inbox. It thoroughly and clearly laid out the steps that TerraTurf would take to remediate my lawn. I felt the quoted price was quite reasonable, and I approved the estimate.

Matt asked me to pick a date for the work to begin, pending availability of sod from the supplier (which was available almost immediately).

On the scheduled date, the sod was delivered early in the morning, and the TerraTurf team arrived soon after, and began work. They were very careful in removing the old and preparing the ground for the new sod. I was pleasantly surprised that this was done in less than a day.

When the new sod was in place, the workers tested the sprinklers to ensure they hadn’t damaged any of the lines or heads. (They hadn’t.) They adjusted a few heads and even replaced a couple of them to ensure proper coverage. I was not charged extra for this.

Matt sent me detailed instructions for care of the new sod. He contacted me to make sure I was happy with the work. (I am.) When I had follow-up questions, he was readily accessible.

I would highly recommend TerraTurf to anyone who needs new sod. I can’t personally speak to the other services that they offer, because I haven’t used them for anything but sod. But based on my experience with Matt and his team, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them for those other services if I needed them.

I confess, I looked at multiple contractors to put turf down at my home. I had several suggest putting down Zoysia grass because they said that there wasn't enough light to grow St. Augustine like my wife desired. It was indeed very shady in the front, side and backyards because of some huge trees and their canopies.

I invited Matt, from Terraturf, to come out and he was exceptional. He was incredibly patient with me and explained several options to me about planting St. Augustine grass. He suggested trimming the trees, removing some of the debris in the back flower and shrub beds, and then putting down sod in those places that needed it. He provided the pre-sod plan and a schedule of what to expect.

He provided a quote for all the work, including the sod work. It was definitely a higher bid than anyone else had made, but it was both comprehensive and indicative of the quality of work that was to follow. Matt was kind enough to give us a military discount, too.

His team was professional and very competent, and in several days I had a brand-new yard. There were a few places that needed a little more grass, and Matt was very generous to send his team to install it after they had finished another job. Definitely a quality of service kind of response.

Essentially, now a couple of weeks have passed, and my yard looks fantastic. The weeds are trying to come back in the flower beds, but I'm dealing with those. Matt and his team at Terraturf are simply the best in the business as far as I'm concerned. I feel I got my money's worth and then some.

This group always does an amazing job. Recently had some trees and landscaping trimmed near our pool (which is difficult to get behind to get to the landscaping), they did an amazing job and cleaned everything up (even out of the pool). Always so impressed with them!
