Transforming Outdoor Electrical Systems
Transforming Outdoor Electrical Systems
At Triangle Power Electric, we take pride in providing high-quality electrical services that cater to the unique needs of each client. Recently, we received a call from Kelly S., who was experiencing issues with an outdoor electrical outlet in her newer construction home. This outlet had functioned perfectly last Christmas, but now it was just not working. Alongside this problem, Kelly wanted to enhance her backyard's illumination by installing an additional flood light. This flood light needed to be connected to the same indoor switch as another flood light located on the opposite corner of her yard.
Understanding the Challenges
Kelly's difficulties with the outdoor outlet and the request for additional lighting made it clear that a professional and comprehensive solution was necessary. Outdoor electrical systems can be particularly challenging, especially in newer homes where existing systems may not always align perfectly with planned enhancements. In situations like this, it's vital to have a qualified team to diagnose and resolve the issues efficiently.
The Transformation Process
Upon arriving at Kelly's home, our team quickly got to work. First, we meticulously examined the existing outdoor outlet to determine the problem. This involved checking connections and ensuring that there were no hidden faults due to wear and tear or environmental factors.
Next, we expertly handled the installation of the new flood light. We ensured that it would operate seamlessly with the existing indoor switch, providing a cohesive solution that meets Kelly's needs for functionality and convenience. Throughout the process, we prioritized clear communication, explaining every step to Kelly and making certain that she was comfortable with the work being done.
The Stunning Results
Once the job was complete, the results were impressive. Kellyās outdoor outlet was functioning optimally, and the new flood light was fully operational, managed through the existing switch. The care our team took was also reflected in our approach; we made sure to remove our shoes before entering Kelly's homeāa small gesture that demonstrates our respect and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
> "Julio and his team are absolutely amazing! ... I am so thrilled by the work! The team was so punctual, courteous, responsive, and professional." - Kelly S.

Power Up Your Home with a Transfer Switch
Transforming Power Solutions: Installation of a Portable Generator Transfer Switch
At Triangle Power Electric, we pride ourselves on tackling unique electrical challenges, and this recent project was no exception. Our team was approached by Helene B., who required assistance with the installation of a portable generator and an adaptable transfer switch. This was not your typical electrical installation, and we were excited to take on the task!
The Challenge: Unique Electrical Needs
Before reaching out to us, Helene faced difficulties in finding reliable electricians who could handle the installation of a transfer switch for her new Jackery 3000 Pro portable generator. This generator is versatile, allowing charging through solar panels or a standard plug when power is available. However, the process of installing the transfer switch can be tricky, and many electricians shy away from it due to the complexities involved.
Helene reported that the inspection for the installation was a big hurdle, as ensuring compliance with regulations was essential to receive a pass. We understood her urgency and were eager to provide the right solution to ensure her home would remain powered during outages.
Our Expert Approach
When we arrived for the installation, our experienced electricians, led by Julio, immediately assessed the situation. Our teamās skill and precision came to the forefront as we carefully setup the transfer switch, taking into account the inspector's requirements.
Throughout the installation, we faced a few unexpected challenges, which we navigated with professionalism. Thanks to our extensive experience with similar projects, we managed to address all issues promptly, ensuring that the installation proceeded smoothly. We worked meticulously to ensure every connection was secure and properly aligned with safety standards.
The Successful Transformation
After completing the project, we completed a thorough inspection to confirm compliance with the inspectorās criteria. Helene was thrilled to hear that we received a PASS for the installation! She can now rest easy knowing that in the event of a power outage, she can simply flip a switch to power her two refrigerators and kitchen outlets for daily necessities like toast and coffee.
> "Julio and his assistant were great to work with... they truly went above and beyond to work with this inspector. But in the end, it all came together beautifully. So if you need some quality electrical work done, don't hesitate to get in touch with these guys as they will not disappoint." - Helene B.
