Todor did an excellent job helping me with my condo conversion. He was so patient with the 100s of questions that my neighbor and I both had. I would recommend him to friends and family....In fact I think he is doing work for my cousin right now.

By now, this rave review will be just piling on because every glowing thing that's been said of Todor is consistent with our own experience. But let me say, Todor is the REASON we've created a yelp account (we're first-timers) - just so we can sing his praises.

In addition to being an extremely nice guy, Todor is conscientious, decent, thoroughly dependable and responsive, hard-working, reasonably priced and goes the extra mile. We've dealt with many service technicians over the years in our home, and none compare to Todor.

He recently helped us with a stressful emergency that arose at the tail-end of a remodel project, days before we were supposed to move back home, while our contractor was out of the country (Murphy's law in action). Our dishwasher blew a circuit and nearly caused an electrical fire in the kitchen, complete with sparks, melted plugs, and black billowing smoke. We called Todor, who cleared his schedule, came right away, and diagnosed and fixed the problem (staying late into the evening and I think even missing his baby's bedtime for us). All for an extremely reasonable price. Later, he also helped us out by giving us a written report that we needed in order to deal with our dishwasher manufacturer about the problem.

This is the kind of service you only read about in fairy tales. Hire him, you won't regret it.

I was in a panic as my roommate called me around noon-ish on a Friday stating that the refrigerator and half of the kitchen's electric was not working.

After having her check every possible breaker in the house (it's an older Victorian) I told her to leave it be - assuming that I was unable to adequately describe what she needed to do to check the breakers. I got back home around 5 pm, and after I and my husband checked every possible breaker and fuse in the house - we'd known it was time to call an electrician. But unfortunately for us it was now 6 pm on a Friday... no one answers their phone at 6 pm on a Friday.

We were resigned to having all the food spoil in the fridge, so my husband started to clean it out while I turned to Yelp to look for an electrician. I started in my neighborhood and called everyone on the list to see if there was anyone who'd pick up. By about the 10th person, no one had picked up, (including Todor on the first pass.)

So by 9 pm we'd given up, and assumed that we'd have to wait until Monday to get it fixed. Lucky us... Todor called back around 9:30 pm. He asked what the problem was, I explained, and he said, no problem that he'd be at the house tomorrow (Saturday) between 9 am and 10 am to fix it.

He showed up a little later - other work that went over, and considering that he was fitting us in at the last minute we couldn't be more grateful. (around 10:30 am) He quickly assessed what the problem was, provided some education, (the breaker for the plugs needed to be replaced.)

He said he'd have to run down the street to get the part, but that all told it'd take about 10 minutes to fix.

He was totally professional, patient and educational. All told with labor and parts it was completely worth the extremely fair rate he charged us for ~ 30 minutes of work. I've now got a working refrigerator.

Todor came by to see the work we needed done the same day I called him. I had two other electricians--who also get high star ratings on Yelp--give me estimates. Todor gave me the breakdown of his bid and came in almost 50% under what the others had quoted. He showed up on time and completed the work extremely efficiently and as discussed. When his supplies ran $20 over what he had estimated, I was happy to pay the difference. I will definitely call on Todor again next time I need some electrical work done.

Todor does great work and prices the job fairly. He is courteous and extremely professional. I also liked the fact that he was willing to work around my busy schedule. His assistant, Evil (not sure if I'm spelling that right) is also very nice. I would definitely recommend Todor

I think you can always tell when someone is competent even before the work commences based on the questions they ask and Todor was extremely thorough in accessing the best solution for the work that I needed to get done.

Todor also recommend a contractor to help patch up the walls once he had finished with the electrical, I always find these recommendations extremely time-saving because then everything works together seamlessly because their is communication across the board
