We were desperate for a solution, and Private Pest Detective delivered exactly what we needed. He took the time to thoroughly inspect our home, found the problem areas, and sealed them up with care — even caulking along the edges to make sure nothing was missed. His attention to detail and professionalism gave us real peace of mind. We’re so glad we found him!

I’m very disappointed with the Private Pest Detectives. I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00 PM, but when I called the owne, Victor after his arrival time for an update, I was informed that they were still on another job and would not be finishedthat for another 1.5 or so!

It is frustrating that I had to reach out to Victor for this information. I believe I should have been proactively contacted to inform me of the delay rather than having to call for an update myself. This lack of communication is disappointing and does not meet the level of service I expected.

Victor offered to reschedule for later today or tomorrow after 5-6 PM, but I am not satisfied with this situation. I will take my business somewhere else!!! 😞

They did an amazing job! Very professional. Did a great explanation of the services that were needed and included a warranty.

Wonderfull experience working with you. If you would like an exterminator that values ethics and professionalism this is the right place to be. I recommend you to anyone who bugs or mice problems.

Living in the city, it's unsurprising to get a mouse every so often, but we recently have been having issues with mice getting into our pantry, ravaging our dry goods (even those in airtight containers!), and the regular mouse traps weren't cutting it.

Victor from Private Pest Detectives came out on a Saturday morning, which I was thankful for because we can't be home M-F. He did a thorough inspection along all of our walls and baseboards, behind appliances, and every other nook and cranny. He pointed out a number of places that were exposed and could be sealed up, behind said appliances, behind toilets where the water lines come in, under kitchen cabinets along the toekicks, and in the basement utility rooms, where they could then enter the house under a gap under the door.

He then gave me an itemized quote and explained the process, and why they don't try to set up a contract to manage the problems, but rather, try to take care of it once and for all, which is perfect, especially as we're about to close a sale on our house and don't want to leave the new owners with an issue that wasn't an issue when we went under contract!

We scheduled for him to come back a few days later, and he was right on time, with all of the supplies necessary. He was able to pull out our oven and dishwasher, and seal up the larger, less visible areas with metal over steel wool, and caulked up where it was a bit more visible, alongside other work. The work didn't take long, but he showed me the videos of the before and the afters (for behind the appliances), and we walked through the rest of the house, with him pointing out the work that was done.

Overall, a great value for the peace of mind, and it comes with a 6-month transferable warranty! I hope I never have to call Private Pest Detectives again when we move, but I'm glad there's someone I can trust to call, if I do.

Had a great experience with Victor in addressing a mouse problem in my kitchen. Victor was punctual and easy to work with and his work sealing up access points looks clean and well crafted.
