Great work, very knowledgeable, will use again

Walter did a very good job replacing our water heater. Not only was his quote reasonable, he was also very patient with my questions about replacement options. However, what stood out to me about him was his professionalism in dealing with severe damage to the outer housing of the new water heater that was visible once unpacked. The equipment was very heavy and it had taken his team some time to figure out how to bring it down to the basement so the prospect of having to haul it back up was daunting. However, he was upfront with me and even though I gave him the option to quit the job, he hired an extra set of hands at his cost to assist with taking the appliance back to the store, getting a replacement, and bringing the new water heater down to the basement to install. In the process he also had to cancel a couple of other jobs that day but still maintained his price quote. You see someone's true colors only when the going gets tough and for me ABBA Home Services' professionalism really showed!

Meticulous work done within an hour everything was up and running - one AC had repairs and other one was a maintenance. Came on time, gave advance notice, swiftly executed and did the job was a very reasonable price. I will be hiring them for regular maintenance as well - highly satisfied with Walter and team. Thank you Walter!

***Consumer be aware of Walter & ABBA Home Services*** 5/02/2020-Walter came out to estimate/give quote to replace my old traditional heat pump/water heater as I requested. During that same visit I inquired about the option for multi zone ductless mini splits. Walter immediately tried to talk me into just getting the traditional heat pump install and stated, “oh I wouldn’t do that if I were you!” Which is surprising b/c he have photos on his profile that he install mini splits. Well being that it’s my decision/money I continued to ask and he advised that he would follow up with me on prices/brand options. I didn’t hear back as he suggested so I texted him for update. 5/16/2020-As I continue to do my own research, interview contractors, negotiate prices, I reached out to Walter again w/more questions. Again he stated he’ll get back to me Monday. 5/18/2020-Monday comes, nothing from Walter. Again, I text him for update. He finally replied to advise that he couldn’t negotiate the brand/budget mini split I inquired about however he offered another brand that would fit my budget. Cool! 5/19/2020-Next day, Walter & I go back & forward in text, moving forward w/plans to install. So I’m excited and feeling optimistic. Walter was supposed to provide info, he asked me to give him a couple of hours. Again Walter goes M.I.A 5/20/2020-Of course, I again had to text him for information/update. Mind you I have already agreed to sign a contract & pay 50% before project. It appeared that Walter either didn’t want to or couldn’t do the job. Instead, he chose to continue to give me the run-around, request more time to write a contract, continued to change days for me to sign his contract, just never-ending excuses. I’ve never had this draining of a interaction with a supposedly professional individual. That does NOT exhibit excellent customer service/professional manners that he claims on his profile. To blatantly lie and waste someone’s time w/no apology or excuse is inexcusable. Especially when it’s has been over 2 days since I last asked when should I expect him as planned and he has yet to reply. ***Consumer be aware and don’t allow this company to waste your time***
