From Clogged to Clear: A Heater Revamp
At Weekend Water Heater, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional plumbing services, especially when it comes to water heater installations and repairs. Recently, we were called in to assist a customer, Wesley A., who was facing significant challenges with their tankless water heater.
The Before: A Frustrating Experience
Wesley reached out to us late one evening, after experiencing a massive clog in their tankless water heater, which rendered the entire home without hot water. Understandably frustrated, especially after a less-than-stellar experience with another company, Wesley needed quick and reliable assistance. We promptly scheduled an appointment for the following morning, confirming our commitment to timely service.
Upon arrival, Tim, one of our skilled technicians, assessed the situation. After thorough discussions with Wesley regarding the issues and possible solutions, we decided to attempt a flushing of the unit. However, after the flush was unsuccessful, we considered alternative options.
The Transformation Process
Given the extent of the clog and the associated costs of repairs that were nearing the price of a new unit, Wesley opted for a replacement. What made this experience stand out was our approach to the whole process—there were no high-pressure sales tactics. We believe in guiding our clients to make informed decisions that best suit their needs.
Tim returned later that day to complete the installation of the new tankless water heater. During this process, he replaced outdated copper flex tubing and installed new fittings along with inlet/outlet and service valves. Recognizing a missing drain in the previous installation, our team ensured it was now included, optimizing the functionality of the unit.
The After: A Happy Customer
Once the installation was completed, Wesley was delighted with the workmanship and the professionalism shown throughout the process. However, there were some initial concerns that arose later that night regarding flow issues in the master shower and a loud vibration from the exhaust. True to our commitment to customer satisfaction, we promptly addressed these concerns at no extra charge, ensuring that Wesley's issues were resolved quickly.
In Wesley's words:
> "I thought Tim did great work and was super easy to work with. We got estimates for replacement from two other companies, and Weekend Water Heater was the best by a longshot. Thanks for making the process painless!"
This feedback resonates with our team's commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. We pride ourselves on our clear communication and quality workmanship, which helps us build lasting relationships within the Round Rock community.
