Let me start by saying that I'm in the real estate business and have used my fair share of contractors in the last 20 years and these guys are the BEST! First, David came over to give me a quote for a new water heater, insulation, and AC. He took a look at my entire house, including the basement and crawled into the attic. It was a very thorough inspection, versus others in the past that just shined a flashlight and gave me the 'been there done that"'pitch so they wouldn't have to get dirty. After the inspection, David told me what I needed and didn't need. He's clearly very knowledgeable, very sincere, honest, and didn't give me any BS sales tactics, which I can smell from a mile away. He gave me a ballpark idea of the cost and said he'd get me a quote in 30 minutes. Sure enough, the quote came 30 minutes later and it was the same as his verbal quote but this time it was in writing, with specifics on the service and parts the quote also included pictures, giving me an idea of what it would like. There was zero pressure, my wife felt very comfortable with David, which is a must since I'm not always home, and I was confident that he knew what he was doing. All the 5 star Yelp reviews helped too! Their prices are very reasonable and when I say that, I don't mean they're cheap. Being in the real estate business, I know people that charge a whole lot less, but you know the old saying, "you get what you pay for". And, I've been quoted more for inferior product and service that could not be better than what I experienced with David and his crew. Now, let's get to the job. David and his crew are very pleasant, and the hardest most meticulous workers I've ever seen. They put on their booties every time they came in and out of the house, and worked almost nonstop until the end of the day where they cleaned everything up the way it was prior to their arrival, and they still had to come back the next day to finish. It was a very big job. They came back the next day to do the same. David is a perfectionist and did not leave until the job was perfect. I actually started feeling bad because I bought a smart thermostat that was giving him some technical difficulties, keeping him on the job at least an hour and a half after everything was done. David would not leave until he knew everything was working perfectly. We are so happy and satisfied with their service that I am not only compelled to write this long Yelp review but I am on a mission to help them get more customers. Thank you David and crew. We are very lucky to have found you and grateful for all you've done!

Great work, they renewed and sanitated my rodent contaminated storage attic and removed and replaced the insulation, then replace the air duct on the crawl space, very professional work, highly recommend their service

I had Luis' team old attic insulation replaced. The job was well done & very professional. Luis didn't mind taking extra trash for me, either. I strongly recommend this company.

Just got attic insulation work completed by David and his crew and they went above and beyond my expectations. I requested quotes thru Yelp on Wednesday morning and 3 companies got back including Pro Attic Restoration. David and Eneira (I think) came to provide an estimate. They were the most thorough in looking in the attic, measuring, checking around (others just took a quick peek). All were conscientious and put on shoe covers or took shoes off before coming in. Their quote was very competitive, slightly lower than the others but really it was their professionalism and attention to detail that made me select them.

They had an opening two days later and the work went smoothly. They were very accommodating and offered an early start date 6:30 and arrived on time. They taped up the place with plastic, checked for cracks/holes were debris and dust may seep thru. The house did not have any dust from the work and the driveway was clean.

The work included removal of existing blown and layered insulation, cleaning and spraying it with mold protection, sealing around pipes both in the attic and the crawl space and placing new R38 insulation and adding more screens to the openings.

David showed me pictures of their work as well as seeing it for myself (pictures helped, since the sealing is covered once the insulation is in place).

They even threw in extras such as insulating the crawl space under the bedroom for us to test out if we want to do it in the future and fixing our kitchen vent that wasn't properly connected before.

They were very pleasant to work with and just had a fantastic attitude. I had taken a DIY session from the city on this years ago and never got around to doing it due to the burden of dealing with old insulation and not having a huge HEPA vacuum. I'm so glad I got to work with David and his crew. They were wonderful enough for me to do my first review on yelp.

David and his crew were great. We had issues with our HVAC and a day after requesting a quote, they were here to inspect and help figure out a plan. They went into the attic and help devise a plan. We decided to take a 2 step approach since we needed to figure out how to get more air to our 500 sq ft extension. David recommended that we start with replacing the 40 year old ducts in the original house and put a return in the new extension and then we could re-evaluate after a few weeks. I felt comfortable with that approach since 3 other HVAC "pros" came in and they tried to just recommend a full duct and system replacement. Some of these other companies didn't even look into the attic. They were just quick to say that we need all new equipment. Keep in mind our HVAC equipment is only 7-8 years old.

With that, we went with David and his crew and we were not disappointed. Him and his team came back 2 days later and replaced all of our ducting, added dampeners, increased the size of the ducting and also added a return in the new extension. We could definitely feel the difference in the house. Heat circulates and distributes much more evenly throughout the house.

The nice thing is David's estimate for the new ducting and furnace/AC pricing will be the same even if they have to return later. I love that they are open to this stepped approach with us. It means we aren't paying for something we may not need and if we decide to get it later, the pricing doesn't go up insanely.

I'd recommend David and crew. They are honest and do amazing work.

My home didn't have enough insulation in the attic and my home used to be quite cold all the time. I figured that we needed to add/replace insulation in the attic but also our HVAC, vents needed to be tuned or fixed.

Cost estimates:
David came for the check-up and cost estimates. He did went to attic and crawl space. Unlike some other attic companies, David confirmed that he didn't find any evidence of rats. He showed me with pictures that we needed insulation in attic and also some vents to be replaced. He was very thorough about the different problems and not just insulation replacement.

I was about to give my Attic insulation project to another company but then got a call from David..!!! He was so adamant that he would do a quality job. I decided to go with him even though cost I'd paying higher than other company. I was definitely looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and after talking to David, I was convinced.

On the Job day:
David, Luis and Eneida are a great team. They came right on time. And as David suggested, they were very detailed oriented. They installed R38 insulation in the attic. Also they fixed the big leak of hot air from my heating unit. I had called another heating company for the check up of my HVAC, that guy was supposed to be HVAC specialist but he didn't even point out the big air leak from Heating system. Luis and David took some time and patience to figure out the problem. And eventually, Luis reached out to the back of the heater and sealed the leak. Now no hot air is leaked and also heater is not noisy any more. He then sealed all the air vents for the leaks as well. They made sure all the recess lights were in-place after the insulation installation. Before leaving they made sure that home was left clean.

Follow up:
Next day after the job, I noticed a recess light that we had missed checking in the bathroom had come out little bit. I called up Luis and he made sure to stop by and fix it. I have had experience that people don't want to come back for small things that comes up after a big job, but for Luis I didn't see any sign of resentment at all. Awesome guy he is.

All and all If I have to give an analogy, I'd say if you like Local Gourmet pizza over big chain pizza, then go with Pro Attic Restoration. Very detail oriented and smart guys.
