Quick Plumbing Rescue in Chicago
Quick Plumbing Rescue in Chicago
At A+ Rooter Plumbing and Sewer Drains Inc., we take pride in responding swiftly to our clients' needs. Recently, we received an urgent call from a homeowner named G.H.J. in Chicago. They found themselves facing a major plumbing disaster: their basement bathroom had overflowed with sewage after using the washing machine, leading to extensive damage to their tile.
The Challenge
G.H.J.'s situation was quite dire. The overflow resulted in gallons of sewage flooding the space, and to make matters worse, every time water was used elsewhere in the home, the toilet threatened to overflow again. Our team understood that this was not just an inconvenience but a serious health hazard as well.
After assessing the situation, our lead technician Alex quickly identified that the plumbing was outdated and likely installed incorrectly by a previous homeowner. Unfortunately, he realized that immediate repairs were not possible at that moment due to the extent of the damage.
> “Alex from Rooter Plumbing was a lifesaver. He responded promptly, evaluated my issues quickly, and walked me through the next steps," wrote G.H.J. in a glowing review.
Solution and Process
Knowing that our client's health and safety were at stake, Alex took the necessary steps to ensure a resolution. He guided G.H.J. through the process of contacting the city to apply for a permit for further plumbing work. This proactive approach not only secured the homeowner's immediate environment but also laid the groundwork for a long-term solution.
The Transformation
While we couldn't complete the repairs right away, Alex provided thorough instructions for the next steps, ensuring that G.H.J. felt supported throughout the process. Our promise at A+ Rooter is to not just resolve the current problem but to protect the home from future plumbing issues.

At A+ Rooter Plumbing and Sewer Drains Inc., we take pride in helping homeowners improve their spaces, one project at a time. Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a client named Lavon with an exciting challenge: upgrading their laundry room with a new washer outlet box.
The Challenge
Lavon began a DIY project to enhance their laundry room but quickly realized that the task was more complex than they had anticipated. A few minutes into the project, it became clear that the installation of the washer outlet box required skills beyond their current expertise. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, Lavon reached out to various plumbing companies for assistance. Unfortunately, many of them charged a service fee just to come out and provide an estimate, and others provided quotes that were significantly higher than expected.
Our Solution
Upon hearing Lavon’s concerns, our team stepped in. Not only did we assure Lavon that we could provide a precise evaluation of the job without hidden fees, but we also aligned with his schedule for a timely visit. Our technician Alex assessed the situation thoroughly and provided a transparent breakdown of the costs involved.
Using our extensive knowledge in plumbing and our commitment to excellent customer service, we ensured that the installation would go smoothly. Our team worked diligently, completing the installation with attention to detail, ensuring everything was up to code.

Quick Fix for Parking Lot Flooding
Quick Fix for Parking Lot Flooding
At A+ Rooter Plumbing and Sewer Drains Inc., we're proud to share a recent success story that highlights our commitment to fast and reliable plumbing solutions. Our team was contacted by a client who found themselves facing a significant challenge: their parking area had become flooded, and the water was stagnant, causing not only a nuisance but potential damage to property.
The Challenge: A Flooded Parking Area
The client, whom we will refer to as Bogdi, reached out to us during this troublesome situation. The problem was unlike the usual clogged drains they had previously encountered; the entire parking lot was underwater, presenting an immediate concern. With this urgent issue on hand, Bogdi sought our help after hearing of our expertise in handling such plumbing emergencies. They were relieved to reach a knowledgeable team that could address their needs quickly.
Our Response and The Transformation
Upon receiving Bogdi's call, our team moved swiftly to assess the situation. We dispatched our expert plumber, Alex, who arrived on site in no time.
1. Initial Assessment: Alex quickly evaluated the flooding, identifying the root cause of the blockage that prevented water from draining away.
2. Effective Solutions: We presented Bogdi with several options, ensuring they were informed about the causes and necessary actions, which included:
- Removal of the flooded water using our professional-grade pump.
- Cleaning the drain system from debris and clogs.
- Jetting the drain pipes to ensure no further blockages would occur.
- Installing a new clean-out access point, making future maintenance much easier.
The Project Execution
With Bogdi's approval on the plan and a fair pricing structure in place (which was validated through competitive comparisons), our team went to work. In no time at all, we successfully removed all flooded water, cleaned the drainage system, and installed the new clean-out.
As we completed the project, we couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in our work and the positive impact we had made in restoring functionality to Bogdi's parking area.
> “Very nice work and reasonably priced,” Bogdi shared in their review. “This time the issue was different than the most of the clogged drain episodes I had before. They arrived, and in no time, they had a pump working on getting the water out. They explained my options, and the job went as planned.”
The Aftermath: A Successful Solution
After our work was completed, the parking area was not just functional again; it was significantly improved. The installation of the clean-out ensured that future maintenance would be straightforward and hassle-free. Bogdi expressed satisfaction with our service and the value we delivered.
Our team at A+ Rooter Plumbing and Sewer Drains Inc. takes great pride in being the go-to plumbing service in Chicago, dedicated to addressing any plumbing challenges our clients face, quickly and efficiently.
