I'm a bit confused as to why our experience was such with Capitol Paint Pros. I am very disappointed with how we were treated. I initially texted the number listed on google and website per what the voice recording suggested. No response. I then left a voicemail. Again, no response. I then requested an estimate via their online platform but listed a different number. We finally got a response and scheduled a quote on Saturday morning. We cleared our morning and waited for Jason to come by. Not only did they NOT show up but when we followed up via text, we didn't even get an explanation or apology. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 days before writing this review to see if we would get a call back.

We have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism from a business. We proceeded to contact two other paint contractors and they immediately got us scheduled for an estimate with email confirmations sent. It was that easy with other paint companies.

I'm sure Capitol Paint Pros do good work, but no one should have to go through the frustration of their atrocious communication to get work done on their home. Many other paint businesses are there to give excellent and timely service.

I've read their other reviews and this is not an isolated incident apparently. Their customary response is a "scheduling error." If it truly is/was, then it's proper to communicate that after a customer messages you for failing to show up to an estimate appointment. But even after following up with this business on the day of the scheduled estimate, no apologies or explanation was given.
