Expert Plumbing Solutions for Old Homes
At American Plumbing Services of the Carolinas, we pride ourselves on providing reliable and effective plumbing solutions, especially for older homes with unique challenges. Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a customer, Kristin Tripp, who owns a charming yet challenging old house in Charlotte, NC.
The Challenge Underneath
When Kristin reached out to us, she was dealing with an ongoing leak in a particularly tricky location. The leak was under a mudroom, which was previously built over a deck and had various piping throughout the house. Our team understood that working on older homes often involves a mix of outdated materials and unexpected complications, but we were prepared to tackle whatever it took to solve her plumbing issues.
> "These guys are who you need to call! I have an old house that had a mixture of various piping, and an ongoing leak in the most remote and unattainable spot under a mudroom addition," Kristin shared in her review.
We were determined to diagnose the source of the leak quickly and efficiently. Our specialist, Cassey, relied on his experience and skills to locate the problem area, even sharing pictures of his findings within the property for Kristin’s assurance.
Our Solution
After assessing the situation, we devised a comprehensive plan to repipe the affected area. Our team understands that communication is critical, especially during extensive repairs. Cassey kept Kristin informed throughout the process, discussing what needed to be done and ensuring she was comfortable with every step.
Our work day was long and thorough. We dedicated our efforts to ensure that the problem was resolved without compromising quality or integrity. When Chad joined later in the day to assist, we maintained our focus on completing the job efficiently while answering all of Kristin's questions.
By the end of the day, we were pleased to confirm that the leak had been successfully repaired. The water meter, which previously showed signs of leaks, was now stable and inactive, indicating that we had effectively resolved the issue.
The End Result
Kristin expressed her satisfaction with our dedication and expertise.
> "These guys are the real deal. Honest, genuine and completely dedicated to their work. I will always recommend them to anyone in the future with any plumbing needs," she concluded.
