Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a client, James V, who wanted to install wall sconces in his home. Below, we share the journey from initial consultation to the finished project, highlighting the remarkable transformation we achieved.
Before: A Dark and Uninviting Space
When James contacted us, he expressed his desire to illuminate his living space with stylish wall sconces. The area lacked adequate lighting, making it feel dark and unwelcoming. James had already sought quotes from two other companies, but his priorities were clear: he wanted a solution that offered quality work without compromising his budget.
After discussing his specific needs, we understood James wanted to avoid making cuts in the walls but was okay with minor modifications to the ceiling. This requirement posed an interesting challenge for our team, as we aimed to minimize any disruption while ensuring the installation was seamless and effective.
The Transformation Process
Our team swiftly got to work, bringing over a decade of experience to this project. We arrived on-site ready to show James various options for the wall sconces, ensuring he felt confident about the decision-making process. After reviewing our proposals, James selected the sconces that best suited his style.
Our Approach Included:
- Innovative Installation Techniques: We positioned the sconces strategically to enhance both the ambiance and functionality of the space, ensuring even lighting distribution.
- Careful Planning: By accommodating James' request to limit wall cuts, we meticulously planned our approach to focus on ceiling adjustments.
- Professional Clean-up: We pride ourselves on leaving each job site cleaner than we found it, and this project was no exception.
Our skilled electricians worked efficiently, ensuring the installation was completed in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
After: A Bright and Inviting Atmosphere
The results were stunning! James expressed his excitement and satisfaction with the newly installed sconces. He was particularly pleased with our team's professionalism and the fact that we completed the work without making unnecessary cuts. As he noted in his review:
> "I highly recommend Citywide Electric! Daniel and his team installed wall sconces at our house... They left the room cleaner than when they arrived. The Challenge: An Outdated Electrical System
Our clients came to us needing a complete overhaul of their condo's electrical system. The existing electrical panel was outdated and in need of replacement, and the couple also wanted to upgrade all the light fixtures in key areas: the bathrooms, foyer, and exterior spaces. Additionally, they requested the installation of two new ceiling fans equipped with remote controls. With a vision for a modern and functional living space, they turned to us to make it happen.

3. Ceiling Fan Installation: Our team replaced the existing ceiling fans with two stylish models equipped with remote controls for added convenience.
4. Additional Repairs: Alongside these major updates, we performed several other minor repairs, ensuring the entire electrical system was in top condition.
