Unfortunately beyond customer service, I can't tell you much. Have been considering some kind of AC for years, saw their ad and hit contact. Boy did they contact. Got a text and phone call within 5 mins. Scheduled someone to come out for a free estimate, and Joe was the guy. 2 days later, Joe was in our home, did a very thorough inspection and well directed estimate for 4 different scenarios and options. Unfortunately, we were not able to sign on the bottom line and move forward. However, I need to state, not because of anything Joe did or said. Joe was awesome. I felt comfortable having in my home with my family, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and he is a straight shooter, or REALLY good at his job. when we said we just couldn't swing it, he didn't press, he didn't get flustered, he didn't come at us from another angle. he was respectful. If we had been in a have to get this done scenario, we would have signed / scheduled immediately. But we aren't, just an extra convenience, so it was hard to justify. Again, honestly, very impressed by initial interactions with this company, and when it comes time, when it is no longer a luxury, they are who we will call.

Essential has the best technicians I've worked with since moving to the west coast. William, like Ryan, was polite and knowledgeable. He checked our AC system to make sure if was running efficiently, and also pointed out alarming issues with our furnace without sounding like he was trying to sell us something. He showed genuine concern for our appliances and our wellbeing. I plan to continue working with Essential.

The work Ryan and his team conducted was both clean and proficient. They worked tirelessly without any problems. Ryan was knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, reassuring us that everything was working properly, and what to do in case something began to malfunction. Ryan is a stand up guy. As a former teacher, they did an excellent job teaching me how to use my whole system with a great deal of patience and with kindness. At 72 years of age, I was never rushed and felt well versed on my new equipment.

Christian gave us a thorough explanation of a very detailed cost proposal and went over each option and explained the reasoning behind suggesting each option. Nice guy, too!
The work was completed in one day by a very competent team that worked well together. They removed my old furnace and installed a furnace/heat pump combo to our satisfaction. Once on site they saw ways to improve the installation by going through the crawl space under our house and that made things much tidier. They were very careful about worksite management and left things spotless when they were done. Nice job!

The experience was not the best. Debris was left at the work site. A spool of cable, which I still have. I believe there was a $100 refund clause for that. The electrician ran the cabling in the absolute worst way possible and they offered $950 to have the guy come back and fix it. I had to pay another electrician $850 to properly fix it. Also, the taped foiled part of the furnace keeps coming loose and I keep having to press the tape back on.

Vence was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I felt heard and understood about what I was needing. A very good experience. I would recommend this company. The install took a long time but was well worth it. The team was professional, kind and kept me informed. A great experience, and a fantastic job. Thanks guys!
