We originally hired them to do a full-house remodel on our mid-century modern ranch house in Marietta, GA, starting with preliminary meetings and trips to pick out materials and finishes back in January 2018. Clark and his extremely talented team believes in having a relationship for life with their clients so we’ve had them come in over the years to help with anything that needs repairs, and also to rebuild damage we had from an asbestos abatement. His team provides the most excellent white glove service from beginning to end, and they make sure their clients are taken care of every step so the way. We will always call on Clark and his team for any home design, build, and remodel needs to continue the relationship for life. We hired Innovative Design Build to renovate the guest bathroom and update the powder room in our Druid Hills mid-century ranch. Our primary goal was to modify our guest bath to "age in place." Innovative removed a large spa tub and replaced it with a beautifully designed walk-in shower. They installed both fixed and handheld showerheads, a built-in bench, and grab bars that look attractive rather than clinical. Our powder room also needed an update. The design and workmanship in both are superb.
We’re retired so we were often in the house while the contractors were working. Innovative was mindful of our presence. We were always warned when work was going to be noisy or when power or water were going to be off. We were concerned about cleanliness and the safety of our dogs when we weren’t home. The team left the workspace spotless every day. They made sure the gate was always closed and all potentially hazardous materials and tools were out of reach.
Innovative provides a professional and seamless process. But I think what stood out besides their skill is their kindness. Meghan was a steady, thoughtful presence throughout the renovation. She checked in regularly and asked smart questions at every stage to ensure the final product met our needs. Sabrina and Cally helped us navigate various design options (not my strong suit) and guided us toward a beautiful final design that balanced aesthetics with our budget. Chris was a cheerful and reliable communicator, so we always knew what was coming up next. And Ruben, who was on site almost daily, seemed to be able to do just about anything that needed doing. He always had a smile on his face and quickly became the dogs’ favorite visitor. Every subcontractor did excellent work, and all were professional and respectful of our property.

Innovative recently completed a significant addition to our home, and our experience was nothing short of 5 stars. From our very first meeting, Meghan was on top of it all and made sure the entire process ran smoothly, including by ensuring that our priorities remained at the forefront. The design work by Cally and the team was outstanding, and the project team—led by Raul, William, and Santiago—did an excellent job executing the construction over a several month process, while being so respectful as we continued to live on site during the project. The Innovative team is like family to us, and we look forward to working with them again and have encouraged our friends to do the same.

The Innovative Construction team brings a commercial contractor mindset to the residential renovation world. They are professional, understand a construction schedule, communicate changes (both price and schedule impacts) well in advance of a decision needing to be made, and the quality of work they self-perform and subcontract is beautiful. On top of that, the Innovative team is kind, thoughtful, and goes out of their way to limit their impact on you and your family (and your dog’s) daily life. We’ve recommended them to other friends and families who have been impressed with them too!

Coming from someone who is exceptionally particular and a true perfectionist to a fault, I cannot recommend Innovative Design enough and would use them again for any future projects. The team was professional, courteous, respectful, and responsive. They were punctual, adhered to schedule and each day left the worksite as clean as a whistle. Cassie and Cally from the design team, Diego the project manager, Isaias the site supervisor, William and Diego Senior the carpenters— all deserve recognition for the incredible work they put into our Buckhead basement project. Would give each one 100/5 stars if I could!

We hired Innovative to do multiple jobs at our house simultaneously, including replacing our garage doors and building a theater room in our basement. We were a little hesitant to use one contractor for such a wide range of work, but Innovative did an excellent job in all areas. The initial scoping with Clark and the design team of Sabrina and Sally did a great job of moving our ideas to specific renderings and plans with a realistic timeline and cost projection. Once the project started, our project manager, Chris, was our main day-to-day contact. Chris did an excellent job of keeping us updated on everything happening in real-time, giving us weekly walk-throughs and he immediately addressed any issues that came up. Quite a few workers were involved in our project, but Ruben and Mark were involved on an almost daily basis. Mark and Ruben supervised the work throughout the phases of the project, and did excellent carpentry work themselves. They did a great job on the initial framing for our basement, as well as on the installation of a beam in our garage. Besides their talented work, they both were extremely friendly and even helped us with some small things around the house that weren’t part of the project while they were here. We are so happy we went with Innovative for our project and highly recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation project!
