Emmy got in touch with us to apologize for having made a mistake and in a sincere effort to make things right
He communicated well with us about what was needed, came over promptly and completed the tasks we asked of him quickly and efficiently. So we have our faith restored that he is an honorable fence installer. It is too bad that he had taken on a project that differed from his prior experiences.

We interviewed Emmy after seeing all the favorable reviews on the website. We specifically asked him if he had experience with euro-style composite fencing, for which we had purchased fence and gate kits. He said he was. We showed him the materials and he said the job would present no problems for him; he could do an excellent job. I asked him if he wanted to see the instructions and he said he didn’t need to.

A few days later he arrived with several other men. None wore masks despite having to be in close contact with us on occasion. They began and had already made an error on the first section. So I printed the installment instructions and took them out to Emmy, showing him what we had discussed (that all slat boards are horizontal, not vertical). He said he would follow them.

In the process they had cut some of the boards, ruining the lengths we needed. They completed more sections and my husband paid them. They did not clean up nicely and as we looked at the work, it was sloppy and really very poorly done. They had not installed some necessary parts, and had modified others. My husband stopped payment on the check and spoke to Emmy. He came back and said he understood our concerns and would correct them all to perfection.

Although I was afraid to let them continue, my husband trusted that they would correct and finish in light of the glowing reviews by others. Emmy and one helper returned and went about correcting the issues, or so we thought. So he was paid once again. We were duped; once again the work was shoddy and much of the materials (expensive) were damaged. Things were left messy.

We had to have a contractor come to do what he could with what was left. We were charged plenty for the repairs. And, as stated, we were out of products and had to order replacements. So the job cost us more than twice Emmy's quote and the fence is still not fully corrected. We will be spending more to get what we were promised.

Emeregildo knows how to get the job done. He takes responsibility. He takes pride in what he does. His co workers are competent and efficient. His pricing is competitive. I recommend you hire his company.

Emerghlado arrived and started the project immediately. They did a great job on the the floor of the garage where there were high spots and in one area they needed to dig out the concrete and reset. It looks great. They cleaned up afterwards and left no mess. There was still a lot of concrete dust from the grinding that needed to be cleaned but that was not part of the agreement. I expected that. Great job! I will use them again.

Emmy was pleasant enough and punctual but I believe he could have put more pride in his workmanship. I felt I had to go behind him and have him re-do questionable parts of the job. Specifically, In placing a water barrier over the damp area of ground under the slab. He needed to get it right, so that the concrete did not cause me problems down the line with moisture bleeding into the structure. He did go back and fix the breech in the liner but only because I brought it to his attention. For the amount of money I paid, it felt like he really didn’t care if I was satisfied or not. I also felt he left the work area a mess once he was finished. Leaving it clean would have been nice and goes a long way with customer service. Overall, I am happy with how the slab turned out, but Emmy should pay more attention to the quality of his work.

I had 2 estimates with contractors who charge you more for the name than the real cost of a job. I was about ti give Up! then Ramos came by and completed the job in hours at a reasonable price. Very satisfied with the quality of the job.

I had originally contacted Emmy to give me a quote on some fencing and concrete work when I found out he also trimmed and cut down trees. I live on a canyon and have full mature eucalyptus trees that are over 30 years old.
When they topped and cut down my trees The only place the trees could end up was in the bottom of the canyon. Emmy’s crew hauled all the felled trees up the canyon through my yard and loaded them up and got them hauled away safely quickly and efficiently.
My wife and I are very pleased with their work and would recommend Emmy to other customers.
