Transforming an Outdated Water System

Transforming an Outdated Water System At Permanent Solutions Plumbing & Drain, our commitment is to deliver lasting plumbing solutions that not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations. Recently, we had the pleasure of assisting Patti McCarthy in Encinitas, who was frustrated after replacing her water tank for the fourth time in 30 years. Understanding her concerns, Patti reached out to us seeking a permanent solution to her recurring plumbing issues. The Before: A Constant Cycle of Repairs Patti's situation was all too common; a standard water tank setup that constantly underperformed and required frequent replacements. After a disappointing experience with a local plumbing company that demanded pre-payment without any work done, she sought a more trustworthy approach. Thankfully, a neighbor referred her to our team, offering hope for a more reliable and efficient solution. Upon our initial visit, we conducted a thorough evaluation of her plumbing system. It was clear that previous plumbing and handyman repairs had left much to be desired. The challenges were evident, and we assured Patti that we would address them all. The Transformation Process Our skilled technicians, Ryan and Barret, tackled the project head-on. Here’s what we accomplished: 1. Replacing the Water Tank: We upgraded Patti's traditional water tank to a modern tankless water heater, providing efficient and continuous hot water. This not only improves functionality but also enhances energy efficiency. 2. Fitting a Soft Water System: To protect the plumbing and appliances from hard water damage, we installed a state-of-the-art soft water system equipped with code-compliant piping. 3. Addressing Under-Sink Issues: With meticulous attention to detail, we addressed various issues under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks. This included securing loose fittings and ensuring everything was up to code. 4. Adding a Pressure Gauge: We installed a pressure gauge within the home to help monitor the water pressure and detect any future issues before they escalate. Throughout the process, we maintained constant communication with Patti, ensuring she was informed and comfortable with every step we took. The After: A Satisfied Customer Once the job was completed, we conducted a final walkthrough of the work we completed. Patti was not only pleased with the upgrades but also impressed with the condition of her garage — left cleaner than before we began! However, shortly after our team left, an issue arose when Patti ran her dishwasher, resulting in a leak. We understand that unexpected issues can happen, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service. As soon as we were notified, our team returned immediately—no extra charges, just a devoted effort to ensure everything was operating as it should. To our delight, the owner of the company even showed up to verify the situation was completely resolved. > “They were very professional throughout the entire process. And always had smiles on their face. I think they like what they do! … You don’t see that kind of customer service much anymore.” – Patti McCarthy Conclusion: Why Choose Us? This project exemplifies our dedication to providing high-quality plumbing solutions while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. We believe every homeowner deserves reliable plumbing services that last, paired with transparency and integrity.
