Dan at Earthborn Landcare really knows his stuff. I had a problem with my sprinkler systems, the heads weren't hitting all the spots on my lawn, and there were dry patches. I also had land that had settled (on a slope) and the sprinklers were literally pointing up in the air. After trying several attempts on my own, without success, I called up Earthborn. He had this job done, and fixed perfectly, in under an hour ! There were 7 sprinkler heads that needed adjusting. He actually had to dig up 3 of them and preposition them.

It really does pay to have the experts who know what they are doing come in and do a quick and efficient job. And all this with a friendly smile ! :-)

Two years ago I looked for a landscape company to install a drip irrigation system for the garden I've planted around my house. Earthborn caught my attention because they specifically mentioned irrigation systems as one thing they specialize in, while most landscape companies don't specifically mention irrigation systems. Their reviews were good, so they seemed like a good bet.

They installed a system for me. The smart way they routed things resulted in a minimum of trenching needed, and also there was very little disruption to my plants. The cost was very reasonable.

This summer one zone leaked a bit when it should be off, and they sent an excellent technician (I believe his name is Ben) who also had worked on the original install, and he rapidly fixed it and the bill was modest. It appears that some sort of debris had come down my water line and damaged a plastic/rubber part on the valve.

I can't say enough about how great it has been to do business with Earthborn. Especially in this time of supply chain and labor shortages, I just feel so fortunate that I picked them to do my irrigation system.

My spouse and I moved to SE PDX about a year ago into a newish home that had not installed landscaping. We have two large dogs and wanted to get something safe and durable for our pups to enjoy - and quickly. We worked with Dan to get something affordable and attractive. Dan listened to what we wanted and worked within our budget. Months later, we decided we wanted to install turf to keep our home cleaner with the pups running in and out of the house in the wet and rainy PNW. Again, Dan worked with us within our budget and was even able to get us booked sooner that we had hoped. His team of installers are kind, professional and very hard working. They are also problem solvers who made last minute changes but stayed w/in budget and timelines. I highly recommend Dan and his team.

2. Communicative - Dan gave me constant updates leading up to the project, daily updates during the project, and follow up texts after to make sure we were happy. He even offered to swing by to teach me how to use the irrigation system his team installed!

3. Accountable - There were a few unexpected hurdles with the project but Dan was extremely transparent with issues that came up and made sure to make things right as soon as possible.

The end result was a brand new irrigation system with a beautiful lawn that will be wedding-ready in 2 weeks!

Contracted with Dan to take up the old lawn and replace with sod. He was actually able to complete the work ahead of schedule. His employees were courteous, knowledgeable, careful, and knew what they were doing. They completed within their estimate and did a great job. It's growing like crazy and looks great. I recommend Dan and Earthborn without question.

Dan and team are great! We've used them both for landscape maintenance and irrigation for several years now, and we couldn't be happier.
