Ana and her partner were awesome cleaners! Very quick and thorough. We have a dog and cats and they were able to find any fur on the floor and now our apartment looks great. They even fluffed up the pillows on our couch. We will definitely use Planet Maids again.

Hands down, this is the best cleaning service I have used in NYC. Stellar cleaning service and admin coordination. Wonderful affable cleaners. This is the fifth service I have used, as well as using several independent cleaners. Was never quite satisfied until I found Planet Maids. Have had five cleanings now and been super happy each time. iIris is the very best cleaner I have had. Highly recommended!

This is the 2nd time I've used Planet Maids. The first time, they sent Anna, who did a great job as the other reviews suggest. The second time, they sent an older woman, I don't remember her name. She did an absolute horrible job. She cleaned my bathroom, and stove all with the same Target brand cleaner and wiped stuff down. There was still hair left behind on the side of my tub and on the floor. It was not mopped. She didn't even vacuum or mop the floors. She arrived with a dust buster and no mop. I took out my own vacuum for her to use and she never actually used it (I know because there was cat hair in it that was in the same exact place after she left). There was still cat hair, cat litter by the litter box and dirt on all carpets and floors. I had gone out and left a tip for her on the table and came home to a barely cleaned apartment. I ran into her when I was coming back and she had only been in my apt for a little over an hour.
I called the service and told them I did not want her coming back and to send another cleaner today. Customer service was iffy about sending someone the same day. They said they would call the cleaner to ask what happened and call.me back with a time that the new cleaner would come. After about an hour, they called me back saying that the new cleaner would be there at 6pm. I had asked for a $20 refund to cover the tip that wasn't at all deserved. They said they'd call back.
Half an hour later, they call back asking if I wanted a cleaner to come today at 6:30. I said I thought we had already talked about this and scheduled a cleaner for 6pm. She apologized and said another agent must have already called and asked if they told me about the refund of the tip I had asked for. They said they couldn't refund it as it was not part of the original price of the cleaning. I had then asked for a partial refund on the original price of the cleaning then, for inconveniencing my entire day! They said no as they are sending a new cleaner to finish the job. She couldn't just put me on hold and find out if the new cleaner was coming at 6 or 6:30, so now I am waiting for her to send me a text to confirm.
I will absolutely never use this service again. I guarantee Anna is the go to first time cleaner to rope you in and then send out someone else the next time. The customer service is absolutely horrible and for the price, my apartment should have been sparkling.
Will update after the new cleaner comes.
Update: They confirmed that she would be there in 5, it was longer. I received the following email as a response to my negative review via the email they send out after....

Thank you for reaching out to us about your experience. We're saddened to hear you were not satisfied.
We’ve discussed your feedback that same Sunday with the assigned cleaner. She was shocked to hear about your feedback and immediately offered to turn back to re-do the unsatisfactory areas.
When you stated you wanted a different cleaner, we immediately worked on securing the earliest available cleaner. Ana was only able to come in the evening. Train delays were heavy and we pushed your re-clean to 6:30pm to give her ample time to commute.
We hope Ana was able to redo those areas to your liking.

The infamous Ana did fine. She showed up with her husband in tow. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the first cleaner barely wiped down surfaces. It was unreal that they are saying that she was shocked. She knew what she did and that's why she looked guilty when I saw her at the elevator leaving. Never again.
