Sam at PlumHVAC and his crew installed and tested a Gree heatpump unit at my home. Their work was of high quality at a competitive price. There was an issue with the existing level hight of the condensate drain line which they diagnosed and corrected as one would naturally expect, but what was surprising to me was that, they did not build me for the installation work until all was corrected and working 100%. Something rare these days, and it speaks about standing behind one's work. The system gas been running well for about a month or two.

We needed to install a mini-split in a backyard unit. Sam and his team helped with this, and they did a fantastic job. Sam visited our place and clearly explained to me what needed to be done, and offered a great price. He scheduled the job for a few days later, and his team performed the job with extraordinary quality. Later, I noticed a minor issue and reached out to them. Sam helped me to fix the issue on a second visit by his team later in the week, providing top-notch customer service. I will work with them in the future for my HVAC jobs, and highly recommend them given their excellent work quality and customer service.

We found Plum HVAC in 2024 after spending more than 2 months searching and comparing estimates. The owner Sam gave us a very competitive price for a Mitsubishi mini-split and the installation went off without a hitch. Our experience was so positive that we later requested their services twice more to also install A/Cs for our 2 other rooms. Their technician, Jake, led our installations each time and we were very impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. Now 1 year in and we could not be any happier, nor have we encountered any issues with our models.

Sam, the owner, was very professional and has almost 2 decades of experience in HVAC. When I asked dumb questions, he answered most graciously. And when I noted that some companies we queried said we could get away WITHOUT replacing our original ductwork from 1965, he gave us his honest opinion why that wasn't a good idea. (Hubby remembered later that people who worked in our attic adding insulation told us there were lots of duct leaks.)

His workers showed up on time, were super friendly, and they were as quiet as possible except for when there was some required hammering to place the heat pump securely in our attic vs. the old furnace location. (Yay, we get another closet!)

Sam also arranged for a licensed provider of asbestos removal to arrive first. That firm was likewise on-time, pleasant and quick.

All the work was completed as promised with a half-day for asbestos removal and 3 days for furnace removal/disposal and heat pump installation w/ Mitsubishi system.

He also helped us with a $2,500 rebate and all the paperwork and photos needed to process it through completion.

Did I do something wrong?

Plum HVAC came over to replace my thermostat and they did a great job. I called them, the communication was great, everything went well. Later on, I wanted to schedule a maintenance on my HVAC units. I tried calling a bunch of times to make an appointment, left messages each time over a course of weeks. I've never heard back :-( It feels like we went on a first date, I thought things went well but now I've been ghosted. Did you not like me?
