I highly recommend Plum HVAC! I reached out to six companies for heat pump HVAC quotes through switchison.org. Sam was the first to respond, and we scheduled a visit the very next day. I immediately felt a rapport with him, and he was super low-pressure. I noticed that he was not taking notes, photos, or measurements when he was surveying the house. He said that he just remembers everything! We discussed both ducted and ductless (6-zone mini-split) systems for our house and he quoted both. But it was pretty clear that the mini-split would be a better choice if we were ok with the aesthetics. Sam came on Friday, and he sent me the quote on Saturday - less than 24 hours later. I had the other companies quote only the mini-split. I don't regret getting the other quotes because I learned something from each of them. But they all came in at higher costs (some more than 2x!), and I still felt like Plum would do the best job. Despite his quote being the lowest, Sam quoted the higher-end "FS" models of the Mitsubishi indoor units, and the others quoted the "GS" models. Sam and Natalie helped me reserve HEEHRA, TECH Clean CA, and SVCE rebates and answered many other questions before the installation. Jake, Ha, Andrew, and Alex did the installation. They were a highly competent, efficient, and courteous team and they completed the job in three days. We are very happy with the performance of our system and with the whole experience with Sam and his team.

The installation crew was friendly and professional. They left the job clean and a perfect installation. They also answered some general questions about heating systems. Once again, a fair price charged. Definitely would recommend

I hired Plum HVAC to install a Mitsubishi Multi-Zone Ductless Mini-Split system. The crew came before the scheduled time and even waited in the car for me to give them a green light to start the job because I had requested a specific start time. The crew was super efficient and got to work in different areas of the house. Each day after the job was done, they made sure all areas were fully cleaned up. The job was estimated to be completed in 3 days but the crew finished everything in 2.5 days. I was super impressed at their professionalism and how fast and clean they did the job. They were also priced pretty competitively. In addition, they also helped to apply for the Clean Tech rebate and got it back pretty quickly. Sam the owner is also super responsive with text. I’m very glad that I went with them and would definitely recommend!
