Is there such a thing as a great plumber? Yes, it's Right Price Rooter. They are very responsive and incredibly honest. I called them a few weeks ago for a leaky pipe. Their price was half of what other plumbers estimated. I asked Mick for a quote for a leaking pipe today and he came out and looked at it and could easily have charged me hundreds of dollars to fix but told me that it didn't need to be fixed right away. How honest is that? They do not oversell either, which is something I've been accustomed to. They are my plumbers for life! Thank you Mick, Bobby and Ralph!

I called Right Price about a toilet clog and spoke to Mick. He agreed to come over the next day. From the moment Mick stepped into the house(actually my parents house) to the moment he left, he was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough.
He plunged the toilet and freed the clog. Ummm, that simple? I automatically assumed my family who lives there had tried that, but apparently not.
My bad Mick! But Mick wasn't even irritated that he came all the way out.
Then he says he wouldn't charge me. What!?! Really?

He's earned a customer for life...
(He actually came out again and did the same thing again!)

On 4/11/14, I looked up Yelp for a highly-rated plumber to fix the emergency drainage problem under the crawl space of our house. One place was going to charge for estimate. Right Price said they could come out that afternoon for a free estimate. Mick Garrison of Right Price showed up around 4 pm. After a couple of toilet flushes, he identified the source of the problem. Within the hour, his plumber Juan was there and started to replace the broken cast iron drainage pipe. In the process, they found cracks in other sections of the drainage pipes too - could be due to the recent waves of earthquake that we had??

Mick was honest, reasonable, and laid out all possible options for us. He also took into account that my husband has been sick for almost a year and gave us a very reasonable senior price. With my husband's GI problems, he has to have the use of the toilet constantly and we didn't have time to shop around. So we went with our judgment of Mick's character and had them start the job the next day.

Juan and Nicholas spent the whole Saturday replacing the entire drainage system. They were very accommodating with us having to use the toilets. Juan would take the time to explain whenever I happened upon them. They both were professional, deligent, and worked nonstop for almost 12 hours!

The kicker was after they finished the job late Saturday night, no one asked for the payment. I had to email Mick twice about making the balance payment. To him, it was more like they wanted to take care of our plumbing problems as opposed to collecting the payment. And in my email, I asked him if we could get a break in price by paying cash because with my husband's medical expenses, we needed to save whatever we could save and my sister was going to front me the cash. When he showed up, he already came prepared to give us a break in price. My husband was so touched by his kind act because all the hospital, doctor offices, lab services, and pharmacies that he has been to these last 9 months collected every penny that insurances didn't cover. And this isn't the end of Mick's kind act. After we paid him the balance, within 10 minutes, I got a call from him. He said he didn't want to take money away if they were needed for my husband's care. He could turn around and bring back the cash and he trusted that I would pay him whenever I could. This exceptional act is from a business that I just used for the first time, not from a relative or a friend. He saw how sick my husband was and the emergency plumbing problem was something that we had to fix without a choice. Yet he has the compassion to offer us to pay whenever we can AFTER WE ALREADY PAID HIM. This speaks volumes about the strong ethics of a business. Bless his heart! There's humanity in this world after all.

My water heater decided to die an untimely death right when my husband was out of town. Of course! What better time right? It decided this around 11:30 on a Friday night! Being an intelligent type I plugged the issue into Google and figured out a) my tank was dead b) I'd need a plumber ASAP. In the interim, I turned off the gas but couldn't get the water shut off so I spent 2 hours mopping water up. Joy!

At about 1:45 AM I'd had it, I got on Yelp and started looking for a solution. I generally go by the best reviewed company and I read each review to see what aspects people liked. Right Price seemed like the best fit for me. At 2:20 AM I called and Mick picked up the call!! I explained my issue and he felt that the situation wasn't emergent so we agreed he'd come to my house about 9AM. Cue to 6AM this morning, water is leaking badly enough that it's starting to drip out of the closet and into the hallway. 6:30AM I call Mick, he picks up, AGAIN!! Says he'll be by between 7 and 8, which he does. He assessed the situation and I did indeed need a new heater, he purchased one, took down the old one, installed the new one, run the water to make sure everything worked, then run it again to be thorough. He made recommendations on items that we'd need to keep an eye on and follow up on. His work is warrantied as is the heater.

This guy takes every cliche about plumbers and turns it on it's head. He is super professional, he is personable, he is honest, he cleans up after himself (bonus points!!), he is AWESOME at his job, he is thorough at his job, he is timely, and did I mention he is honest?

Mick and his guys have a customer for life and a referral source to boot. He's already aware that there are projects I'll need him for in due time. See you soon Mick! Thanks for saving my weekend!
