Kudos to Mike Moore, Ira Seacrest, James, Johnny Rodriguez I give these guys 5 stars.
Unfortunately I give Rick Clark 1 star. I do not want him back at our house.
We have a tankless system, technician Rick Clark I believe was his name. He asked me if I had the manual for the tankless system I told him that none was handed to me when the system was put in about 5 years ago. Then he went in the attic, apparently it was taped to the side of the water heater. He came down from the attic and took the manual with him and sat in his truck for 45 minutes and said he would have to charge for a diagnostic fee of $154.00, I also told him I usually get a military or senior citizen discount and he didn't know. I sat out in the garage the whole time he was here which was close to 3 hours. He then came out of his truck and he called his manager Johnny Rodriguez as to what he needed to do. Rick then made a comment there was a problem with the cord hooked up which it is an extension cord from the water heater to a outlet and there should be a GFCI outlet and said he told me in February when he came to do the flush, I told him he didn't tell me in February. I said if he would have I would have already done it, explained this was how it was initially installed and I am not a plumber. Explained the original installation is not my fault the tech should have known that this needed to be done was not brought up until June 16 of 2023. Johnny told him to take it apart and clean the filters and do another flush. I spoke with Johnny his manager on Rick's phone on speaker and we discussed the GFCI outlet and agreed to split the cost 50/50 in which I don't think I should have to pay in which 5 years ago we paid for the price of the tankless water heater and installation between $4500 to $5000 for everything which should have included the GFCI outlet.
Rick cleaned the filters and whatever else Johnny told him to do including another flush. He didn't come in the house to check any of the faucets to see if we had hot water and make sure the pressure was ok. After he put it all back together I asked what about the flush Johnny told you to do his comment was it didn't need it. I also had to ask him for the manuals back.
The water was hot before he left. On morning of June 17 it was cold again. My day was already planned and I had other obligations took a cold shower and called Stan's back and complained about Rick and we still have cold water. Also explained to the person that answered I also left a message for Johnny Rodriguez to call me. Isetup for them to come back out today on June 18 on Father's day. Rick never explained anything to me at all nor his findings. I do not want Rick back at our house.
James came out and he was great has 32 years experience and was able to explain in detail and checked the filters my husband was in the attic with him. We talked about the extension cord plugged into the outlet to the water heater and I explained that Johnny made arrangements for Tuesday for the electrician to come out and install the GFCI outlet. He came in the house and checked the water pressure and went to both bathrooms. He checked the filters and they were clean, put it back in, hot water. A couple hours later water is back to cold. James spoke with my husband and another part may be needed, James knowledge and explaining everything was 100 percent better than Rick.
Ira came out on Monday and cleaned the flame rod and checked the system, the water was hot before he left. Then it went back to cold again.
Michael Moore came out and did the GFCI outlet he was great.
On June 20 Johnny came out and took everything apart and there were some bees in it, he cleaned out the lines, he said this is cleanest system he has seen for being a little over 5 years old, rechecked everything, decided that the flame rod and igniter needed to be replaced after speaking with Navian. Ira went to go get the parts and installed them. Computer board needed to be replaced also, board was delivered to our house while Ira waited for it. All working great thank you.

Greg & Tyler were phenomenal! They showed up first thing in the morning with his helper and they dove right in. Installed our new unit, sealed everything up really nice and gave us a detailed explanation of EVERYTHING so we know how to properly maintain it moving forward. They kept us in the loop throughout the entire installation process and cleaned up nice afterward. Five stars!

Cristobal Palacios was FANTASIC. He arrived 3 hours late (10pm) due to an overbooked schedule. He was tired after a long 13 hour day but still smiling. Fixed the defective capacitor on my AC unit and got some cool air blowing again so I could enjoy a nice, cool night of rest. Only suggestion would be for management to equip front line phone staff with more information to customers about technician delays/ETAs during long schedule disruptions.

My AC went down in the middle of a Texas heat wave with severe heat warning in effect. The upstairs unit went out, so we were not able to sleep in any of the upstairs bedrooms. The situation was pretty urgent when Stans came out to assess the situation.
The technician told us the fan motor was frozen and that the entire unit had to be replaced for $10,000. He also said the coolant was no longer serviceable, so he just left without even opening the unit or looking any further into it.
The next day I had another guy come out from Austin Air. He was able to get the unit back up and running in 20 minutes. He told me the units had a good 10 years left him, and that the coolant was very high-quality, and that it he just uses an additive. Total bill $500.
So Stsns really let me down. If I had listened to them, it would’ve cost me 10k for no reason. Also, the technician miss diagnosed the problem and didn’t take the time to look into it further. He didn’t care that my AC was down in a severe heat warning, and showed no signs or interest in helping me.
I was extremely disappointed in the service, and they really left me hanging in a desperate situation. I would never consider using this company ever again.

Had consecutive days in Austin that were over 100 degrees and our AC wasn’t working efficiently at all (the house would get as hot as 82 degrees). Cleaned the coils, changed the thermostat, checked the filter… still wasn’t working. Called Stan’s and they sent a professional the next day. He was on time, quick, thorough, and took time to show me what had happened and what I can look for in the future. I will be using Stan’s again if another problem arises
