After discovering that we needed a roof replacement we went to our neighbor Mckalla Keels remembering she worked for a roofing company. She was experienced knowledgeable and helpful. We were confident that Summit Roofing was the right choice based on her recommendation. We appreciate her guidance in setting up a meeting with Summit Roofing‘s consultant Trey Jones. It didn’t take long working with Trey doing the inspection and preparing the estimate that I realized how professional and knowledgeable he was. In a follow up meeting Trey provided an electronic presentation detailing all the steps and the schedule. He patiently answered all of our questions. A crew arrived at our house on the date and time that he said they would be there. The installation went as planned and was flawless. The on-site team led by project manager, Colin Moultis was great. In my experience, most project managers only visit the site during the project and then they leave to check on other crews. Colin stayed all day and even pitched in up on the roof to speed up the completion. The roof was completed in one day and the cleanup was exceptional. I want to highly commend Trey Jones, Mckalla Keels, Colin Moultis and the whole Summit Roofing team. It was truly a pleasure working with such professionals.

Getting a new roof seemed like a daunting process. The quote was competitive with other roofers, but the quality and continuing coverage seemed to be a step above. The work was completed quickly and the end result is wonderful. I used Summit Roofing on our house in Austin and was very disappointed and cannot recommend them. It was an older home with a pretty flat roof and a garage. On the day they started, their crew shot a 3 inch nail through the ceiling of our kitchen and broke a light fixture. Originally, the foreman said that there was no way they could have done it but they hired painters to repair our kitchen which was a hassle. When they finished, I found that in our garage, they had roofed over black, rotten decking that was falling out. By contract they were required to replace rotten decking. Again, I had them come out and fix the problem. A few months after having our roof replaced, we started hearing squirrels in our attic. I looked and the back of the house and under the roof, I found that they had cut into the roof decking and left a 2 inch hole/crack that allowed squirrels/rodents into our attic. When I called Jordan Santa, our representative, he said that Summit couldn't have caused this issue. They refused to even come out and look at it. I hired my own contractor who agreed that when ripping the ridge line for a ridge vent, that they cut past the wall and left a opening in the decking. I have photos of all of this damage. My contractor repaired it and billed Summit for the repair. Summit also refused to pay for an exterminator to remove rodents from the attic. I also picked up bottle caps, etc from my yard for several weeks after the job. With 3 major issues, including damage to our home caused by the crew, I was thoroughly disappointed with them and will never use them again.

We were turned down by our insurer twice. Trey with Summit Roofing refused to give up. Eventually our insurer agreed to a new roof. Thanks Trey!

10/10 Service. Frankie Francis worked with me every step of the way, including when I had some issues with my insurance and helped me get it all o.k.ed with my HOA. They found an issue with the solar panel installation I had a year ago and fixed it and charged it to my insurance! I've had the tiles up for several months, and they still are pristine!

Had a great experience with Summit and James Snyder. He was very responsive and answered any concerns that we had during the process. Summit put up a beautiful roof on our house, and we are grateful to have worked with them. Would highly recommend.
