Little did she know that we would help her achieve her dreams in just one day!
The Challenge: A Neglected Yard
When Ann first contacted us, she expressed frustration with her yard's appearance. The front yard was cluttered with dead bushes and her backyard felt uninviting. Ann wanted a fresh, lively environment but was unsure if it was feasible given her constraints. She was eager to enhance both aesthetics and practical functionality for her outdoor space, especially since she had a dog that was causing wear on a portion of her lawn.
Our Approach: Comprehensive Cleanup and Revitalization
Upon assessment, our team identified several areas that needed attention:
1. Front Yard Cleanup: We removed the dead bushes to create a cleaner look.
2. Backyard Refresh: Our team moved existing rocks to rebuild a flower bed, adding visual interest and character.
3. Paver Installation: To protect her lawn from her dog, we added pavers by the gate, ensuring a durable solution.
4. Paver Leveling: We meticulously leveled existing pavers that had settled over time, enhancing their functionality and appearance.
5. Mulch and Planting: We removed the outdated pea gravel at the side of her shed, added vibrant flowers, and spread fresh mulch for a polished look.
6. Sod Replacement: Finally, we replaced the existing worn lawn with fresh sod for a lush, green finish.
Throughout the entire process, our team maintained open communication with Ann, ensuring she was involved and satisfied with our steps.
The Results: A Beautiful Transformation
The transformation was remarkable! Ann expressed her delight in our prompt and responsive service, saying:

Stunning Patio Makeover in Chicago
At SuperGreen Hardscapes, we are passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional areas that enhance your lifestyle. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful customer, Hilary, who had a clear vision for her backyard but needed our expertise to bring it to life.
Before: A Space Needing Revitalization
When Hilary first contacted us, her backyard was in dire need of attention. The old brick pavers were worn and uneven, making the area less inviting. Additionally, she wanted to create a special spot for relaxation during the summer heatāa splash pad for dipping her feet. Her existing landscaping included outdated shrubs, which cluttered the space rather than beautified it. While Hilary had already sketched out her ideas, the challenge was in executing them flawlessly.
Our Transformation Process
Our team quickly got to work on Hilary's project. Hereās what we accomplished:
1. Removal of Old Pavers: We carefully removed the old brick pavers, ensuring a smooth and safe environment to start fresh.
2. Leveling the Area: Next, we leveled the area to create a solid foundation for the new hardscape.
3. Installation of New Pavers: We selected high-quality Unilock pavers, which were installed with precision to ensure consistency with Hilary's plans, down to the exact inch.
4. Creating the Splash Pad: We sculpted the splash pad area, creating a mini pool that could easily accommodate a refreshing dip. This added a fun and unique feature to her yard.
5. Landscaping Enhancements: To complement the newly installed patio, we laid fresh sod and widened the front walkway. Old shrubs were removed, and we added vibrant new plants, along with a tidy brick border wall and fresh mulch to complete the aesthetic.
The Result: A Dream Backyard
The outcome of our labor was nothing short of spectacular! Hilary now boasts a stunning outdoor area that not only looks great but functions beautifully. The combination of the new pavers and refreshed landscaping has transformed her backyard into a summer oasis for relaxation and enjoyment.
> āAlvaro and his team were great to work with. We had a plan already drawn up for a new patio and some new landscaping, and Alvaro executed it perfectly.ā ā Hilary S.

At SuperGreen Hardscapes, we pride ourselves on the exceptional transformations we achieve for our clientsā outdoor spaces. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Michael K. in Chicago, who sought our help to revitalize a lawn that had become overrun with 3-foot weeds and suffered from poor water drainage.
Before: The Challenge
When Michael first contacted us, he was frustrated with the state of his lawn. The weeds were out of control, creating an eyesore that affected both the aesthetic and usability of his yard. Additionally, the lawn had poor drainage, leading to unsightly water pooling and further issues. Understandably, he wanted to create a beautiful outdoor space that he and his family could enjoyāa space that would enhance the overall look of his property.
Our Approach: A Step-by-Step Transformation
Our team quickly got to work on a comprehensive plan to tackle all of Michaelās concerns. Hereās how we transformed his yard:
1. Weed Removal: The first step involved the complete removal of the invasive weeds that had taken over.
2. Regrading: We regraded the lawn to improve the drainage issues systematically. This step was crucial in ensuring that water flowed appropriately and didnāt accumulate in undesired areas.
3. Sod Installation: Next, we laid down approximately 6000 square feet of high-quality sod, chosen for its durability and lush appearance.
4. Planting: To add visual appeal and variety, we installed a selection of shrubs and perennial plants throughout the planting beds. We sourced these from a trusted nursery, ensuring their quality and health.
5. Decorative Stones: Lastly, we incorporated river rocks and stones in poorly draining areas to enhance the landscapeās overall design and functionality.
Throughout the process, our team maintained clear and consistent communication with Michael. We took him through each step, ensuring that our design and implementation met his expectations and preferences.
